Their Story
From small town café to national-scale production, Coppa Inc. is southwestern Ontario’s premiere gelato creators. They started a small café serving coffee, sandwiches, and gelato in southwest London, back in 2004. Shortly after, the wholesale requests started coming in, which initiated the move to Strathroy to expand production where they met Mainstreet. By 2012, they were a licensed dairy producer with a 4,000-square-foot facility.
Today, Coppa has a wholesale and private label facility that is 15,000 square feet in the home of London, Ontario. They have quickly expanded their gelato from Ontario to Newfoundland, allowing them to retail in 8 of the largest grocery chains in the country, supply to copious independent stores, as well as boutique grocers. As of today, they are producing nearly 20 different flavors of gelato and sorbet.
