Few points: $20 per person for biking in Mohonk Preserve (private). Minnewaska is $10 per car (public). Mohonk trails are historically used for xc skiing, so the green, blue, black ratings likely apply to that. Agree on skipping the mountain house, but I don’t begrudge people paying huge rates some privacy. It’s nice we have access to most of it and is a successful model of private conservation. It’s private land and it’s maintained well and they care about the ecology of the place too and accommodating various uses.
Enjoyed the video! Thanks for sharing!
would love to see more videos with this calm commentary!
I remember hiking those trails and it never occured to me to bring a bike. Love the voiceover and the edit. Keep em coming
keep cherrishing the entire bike-life
I've seen a few different videos of this place but god damn it looks beautiful here! Thanks for capturing this and inspiring us all to get out there and ride. As others have said, the commentary was a nice touch.
Woah, what a scenic route!
Greetings from Ukraine!

awesome review taytay! much love my friend
Minniwaska was so fun when I went through last year _ I'll definitely be going back !
I was on my gravel bike and it was gnarly in a few places - but so fun and what amazing views.
The $35 is if you want to park at the Mountainhouse. Preserve is $20 (to park or ride on) and you can ride on any of the 3 properties with just that $20 pass. Minnewaska is free to ride on, you only have to pay if you're bringing a car through the front gate. Loved the video!
Pocket 3 looks great. Sweet ride, used to trip balls in those woods when I was younger man
🍄
The wife and I hiked Minnewaska last year and I'm happy you found the waterfall. Great fun!
Yes it was!
Nice Terry. Real freakin nice.
The editing on this is 🤌🤌
Enjoyed the voice over.
Realy enjoy watching this one ! How wide is your handlebar ? Thank you for your videos :)

Saw two black bears sitting on the side of the trail that one time i rode here 😅
He never left Central Park
i live at the bottom of the trailhead you ended up at (i think we know each other from a habit shoot in nyc w/ Mitch). you really only need to pay one entry, then ride into the other park. Next time you should check Sam's point. Funny, i passed your friend up there that day, but didn't see you. smart you stayed away from the climbers
I think I need those grips. What are they?

lots of great singletrack within the city limits in Portland. most of it is off limits to bikes. some of it clearly originated as mtb trails and would be not much fun to hike, so it’s a shame there is no openness to shared use.

buenas noches Signore!
no zyn this time jeff?
Geoff is now Zyn free
It's a shame there is an anti-bike mentality in many resorts, RV parks and even national parks in the US. Bike riders are tax payers too yet they are treated as a nuisance.
Why is it like that? Like what kind of damage to the park can bikers cause? I'm just curious and I'm not from US
A argument is it deteriorates the paths too quickly and therefore causes erosion.
Also, some people ride too fast around walkers putting all at risk of injury
@@PSmitty364 Cheers! Yeah riding too fast might be a problem
For future, in Mohonk Preserve and Minnewaska, bikes are only allowed on carriage roads. Signs are at the beginning of the parks.
Speech during the video ruin the pleasure from watching
you can just mute it then brother
Hey Terry have you ever encoubtered something creepy going on on this place? Please take care, it gives me the creep going out in these kind of territory
Ps. Take care of wires that someone might attach to trees
