      I'm Swedish and that's what I would do. I wouldn't ever consider dating a woman for any other prospect anyhow, as I find it soul-destroying, but I'd make it clear that I'm looking for a woman to spend the rest of my life with, to have a bunch of kids with. Not someone who's reduced to her body and sex.

    Tbh this has got me paranoid asf. Cheating on someone just because they feel like it is NOT a valid accuse. It makes it already more disgusting and unacceptable than it already is. God dammit.

    • @sanher20
      @sanher20 Рік тому +2

      Lack of communication is one of the main weaknesses of Finns, if you have a Finnish girlfriend you'll have to teach her how to communicate because if you don't the relationship will be over when you least expect it

    • @skandargraun9947
      @skandargraun9947 Рік тому +2

      Communication is only effective when both parties are ready to LISTEN. Otherwise it's just going to become an endless session of speaking with no conclusion whatsoever, and then both can accuse each other of not understanding their points. There are so many people like that, not in Finland but in general, who preach about communication all the time, really loud, pretending to be extremely honest and open minded, and then when you happen to say something they don't like, then they suddenly lower their voices, whispering you that you're definetely on the wrong because of this or that, or they are just silently sneaking away from you and avoiding you.
      My point is that communication is important indeed, but it also requires a certain level of intelligence, listening skills and understanding. Otherwise even communication is not gonna work.

      The Finnish people are not honest. Rather, they conceal information and often lie. Many individuals and authorities are like that.
      And they don't even feel guilty about it. They think it's completely normal.
      What I hate the most is how they, like the man in this video says, ignore obvious contradictions and justify flaws. In my culture, starting a relationship after having sex is seen as something only a promiscuous person would do.

    Sexual compatibility is a silly concept. Presuming you want to reproduce, it's pretty obvious whether or not you're compatible, if you know what I'm saying. Making sex so trivial means there's no special bond between you and your wife/husband. The oxytocin released during intercourse chemically makes you attached to the person, whether you want it or not. This is a good way to mess you up, and why I've abstained and am looking for a woman who has done the same. being Swedish, it is pretty difficult to find that here too, but nothing worth having ever comes easy.

    Moi!!!
    I don't know how to say it, but I'm a person who prefers to be alone. I' m much colder than any Finn I met in Kuopio, and I would even appear depressed in front of many. Way too introverted, and with an exaggerated Gajin-like inferiority complex.
    I don't consider myself an attractive guy, being very thin physically. That's why I decided to dye my hair BLONDE, maybe that way I'll be more at peace with the way I look. This is my first time getting dyed and I really want to see how I look.
    Even though I have a bad self-image, one day when I was in front of a restaurant in Kuopio, a Finnish girl passed by and greeted me. I was a little surprised.
    At the moment, I am looking to return to Finland, a place where I truly felt at HOME, like I never felt in my home country.
    I am trying to learn Finnish as well as possible. I recently sang a piece in Finnish, signed by J. Karjalainen (Jukka Tapio - Bruce Springsteen of Finland), entitled "Ankkurinappi", released in 1982, on his second album "When The Night Comes in Helsinki" (Yö kun saapuu Helsinkiin ). I heard the song on my plane trip to Finland.
    It only took me an hour to learn his lines.
    You can get it what, if you really want.
    Mukava päivä!

    I have been living several years in Finland and I can conclude that there is no real will of establishing a relationship of love between two persons. They usually end up entangled sexually with another person after several drinks and in some cases that leads to sharing apartment to save costs. But rarely I observed any intentional approach to a loving relationship. Like everything in Finland, relationships are mostly based on convenience and pragmatism.

    Hei Aleksi , nice video you made, my current situation is that I met a Finns guy through Apps when I am on my holidays last summer, the moment I reached my Airbnb soon or later I got his messages and we met the first time when I arrived Finland on my first day
    We keep in touch , met second time and I left to my country , and we still keep in touch
    He is not a good respond when come to reply messages, mean he reads or may not read on the message and late reply...
    But we eventually set a two weeks holidays to try out on this dating as we are distance away
    I met him the third time which has the great intimacy , connection (same as the previous two times) , he isn't a good planner but he told me he will learn on that cause we plan to catch Aurora but end up we were staying at home , just like living normal daily routine, meet his friends for drinks , grocery , shopping (which he bought some stuff for me, and I did pay some other stuff when we spend together like drinking or dining ) ...
    What I didn't expect is that on our last day together , the moment I hug him because of our separation , he cried in tears , again and again when he see me ...
    I always remember the final separation in the airport , we hug so tightly , tears on eyes , a goodbye kiss and he walked away , I left to security check and we looked each other from far away ...
    ...
    This few days he texted me his home feels so empty without me and he got so used to it when we are on the bed together but now left him alone ... my heart sink...
    He didn't like to rush or talk about future plan when to meet again so I didn't ask him more but I want to see him as soon as possible ...
    ...
    Is there a possible to be together again ? Is this a situationship ? (btw, we both male)

From my perspective when he said that he loved me I instantly thought that he was ‘love bombing’ me because here in North America “I love you” is thrown around way to much so I didn’t take his words seriously and I didn’t know how to react. Paying their own bills/splitting should be the norm everywhere. Women also work, so they can pay their own part. "Equal checks mean equal rights" - quote from the Donna Reed Show season 8 episode 16 (1966).
    I like the fact, that in some countries women dare to make the first step in dating and not waiting for the prince as shy, little girls.
    I also like that is totally normal for finnish men doing housechores or taking care babies.
    In my country (Hungary) there is just a little progress in this matter. I wouldn't say women have no rights but our politicians said and still say sexist things in our Parliament. Of course, Asian and African countries are much worse than my country but still Hungary should change in some things.
