OMG, FINALLY: a relatable story to keep me engaged with LSAT Demon. I am so over these brilliant people who start off with 170 (without ever seeing the LSAT). They aren't "normal". THIS is more realistic and makes me believe I may benefit from working with Demon coaches. 😅

It's important to remember that everyone’s LSAT journey starts at a different place. It’s quite rare for someone to score in the 160s on a diagnostic, and I’ve never heard of anyone starting in the 170s. No matter where you begin, we’re confident that anyone who preps with us and follows our advice will see significant improvement. We also have many success stories of students who started in the 140s and went on to achieve official scores of 170+!

I have just resumed studying for the LSAT after a few years. Ive taken three practice tests this past couple weeks or so and started with 152, then 153, now 155. I am noticing improvements in overall accuracy and speed. Something that has worked for me is flagging and skipping a few of those longer, more difficult questions that take more time and brain power. If I wanted, I could spend 5+ min on a longer, more difficult question and likely answer with accuracy, but subsequently lose out on 3+, less difficult/time consuming questions that I can also answer with accuracy. I've found that this sometimes provides a few min to go back on those few questions. This technique has helped with speed, but so has having a better understanding of the arguments and a familiarity with the types of answers typically associated with those types of arguments. Not sure if this is something recommended at LSAT Demon. Nevertheless, I'm hoping to take the test 5 months from now and score within the 160s. This video gives me hope.

Thanks for sharing! However, we strongly advice against skipping questions. It does more harm than good, I promise. When you skip a question, you are inherently increasing the difficulty of the next question. Moreover, student's perceived difficulty of any given question is unreliable. When we say that the LSAT is easy, it's because we truly believe it is once you take the time to understand each and every word.
