  • I tried 7Sage and LSAT Demon, and this is my honest opinion. You have to find the right LSAT prep course for you, but hopefully my experience can help you decide which one to use.
    Thank you for watching and joining me on my journey to go back to law school. I'm a millennial single mom, I did one year of law school right before the pandemic and had to withdraw because life was lifeing a little too hard. This is my second go at this, and this time I'm taking my time to do it right.

    I use both! Because I qualified for the $1 for a year for LIVE at 7Sage, and the discounted Demon Basic plan. So I go to 7Sage for the live classes, and use the Demon Basic for the drilling.

    Question though, if you were starting your LSAT prep all over again and had 0 knowledge on the material (me rn lol) would you feel comfortable starting with LSAT demon? Because I don't know the fundamentals, I'm wondering if it would be better to do a 7sage/blueprint/etc. to learn the core concepts before going right into drilling with something like LSAT demon

    • @whitneychanell
      @whitneychanell  2 місяці тому

      I’m so glad you found this helpful! And this is a great question because I did have prior experience with the LSAT, and I still did find the fundamentals of 7Sage to be really helpful. I think a month of 7Sage to do the fundamentals would be helpful, but then I’d switch to LSAT Demon to get hands on. It shouldn’t take a full month to get through the fundamentals.

    i'd definitely be interested in a video about when the best time for law school is. I'm currently a rising senior in college. I'm considering applying as a K-JD, but maybe taking a gap year is better. It would give me work experience, give me more time to study for LSAT, allow me to exploit my senior year grades to boost GPA, and let me save some money

    I started with 7sage a couple weeks ago but the syllabus was too overwhelming with theory. Also ended up asking myself when I should be drilling and taking PTs.
    I will say 7sage’s foundations did help me.
    I Wanted to try demon out and it seems like their approach is more intuition and repetition. I also have ADHD and a busy schedule so I do feel like it’ll fit me better. I’m just worried that in the long run, I won’t grasp the concepts consistently since it seems more intuitive rather than learning how to break the questions down?
    I might be wrong but that’s the vibe I got. Would you say the demon has conceptually taught you how to be consistent with the questions in the long run? I’m only a month into my studies so sorry for the long questions!

    • @whitneychanell
      @whitneychanell  4 дні тому

      Hey! Yes 7sage foundations was helpful, I completed most of those. However, LSAT Demon actually teaches them in a way more intuitive and simple way. They have courses organized by section type and go over fundamentals as well. Their live classes are also way better because they answer everyone’s questions and allow you to ask questions about taking the test in general. It’s like having a group tutor. The fact that you switched to the Demon this early in your studies, you’re going to do great!

  • @biancaroane8460
    @biancaroane8460 2 місяці тому +1

    Would you say that 7Sage is good to use at first? Like for the foundations? Or can I get foundation and everything from LSAT Demon? I’ve been reading the powerscore books too. Thought?

    • @whitneychanell
      @whitneychanell  2 місяці тому

      At first I thought 7sage might be better for foundations until I really started getting into the Demon’s lessons. I think LSAT Demon is all you’d need. They do a way better job explaining everything, including question answers. If you can, I’d sign up for the highest plan and join the classes where you can ask questions and then downgrade later if you don’t need that much help anymore.
