  • We need to accept our responsibilities at a younger age-we have to give up our childhood at the right moment before it is too late or it will be taken from you at a time which you are not prepared for. If we put off maturity for as long as we can, by not picking something to work for there will become a point where it hits you full force-and it will much harder to recover from

    "But why can't I be Puer Aeternus?" Asked the child afraid of adulthood.
    "Because; no one will trust you, and no one will respect you. Not even yourself." Said the old women who had seen it all before.
    "Besides," said the Mother and Warrior in unison; "Being an adult is where Life is. Childhood is just faint practice."

    whats also important is that people build that framework for themselves. so many young people (myself included) get pressured into developing a specific frame that might not even be right for them. the message and goal should be that they develop one at all, not the one you think they OUGHT to have. I'm now working towards my 2nd career because I spent my 20s trying to get people off my back by being the person they wanted me to be. It's hard to feel like I didn't waste a whole decade of my life that I can't get back. I try not to be bitter about the lies I was sold. And now I look at people much younger than me working towards the same thing, and so many of them are there just to appease their parents and I wish I could intervene somehow, to be used as a cautionary tale, so that they don't come out the other side only to have to restart and be resentful of everyone who helped them arrive to a location they didn't want to go to.

  • @JoyfulUniter
    @JoyfulUniter Рік тому +4

    The key is to remain enthusiastic and pick your defining dream or goal. That way you don't ever lose your "inner child", AND you become phenomenal at your goal, because enthusiasm is all virtues in one state. You see God in children because they're enthusiastic, when they stop being enthusiastic, you stop seeing God in them, so pick a thing, and be enthusiastic, life is incredibly simple every door opens for you when you're enthusiastic luck is merely one part of its infinite virtue.

      Now let me follow my own f***ing advice here, know what I mean? hahaha ugh...so 4th wall breakingly good at helping other people out, but who helps me out? Just God, and if i don't...who will? Really cutting it close here humanity... time to put up before we all friggin die don't think those angels won't wipe this planet again, they're a shifty lot and not too concerned about breaking a few eggs for that omlette.

    We make sacrifices because we think it will stop whatever pain we’re currently feeling. It’s often times a placebo.

    • @DC.DYNASTY
      @DC.DYNASTY 2 роки тому +1

      I agree. That’s if the process of choosing which sacrifice is irrational or spontaneous. Nevertheless, when we make rational sacrifices, we are are aware of the compromise of a desired result for for an undesirable action. Sacrifices are usually selfless. I guess we might fool ourselves into satisfaction in high hopes that who we made our sacrifice for values it as much as we do.

    It's a matter of balancing what you want with what the world wants. But you need to give something to the world. I stumbled into the accounting world myself, quite by accident. But for some reason the world seems to want accountants. I got an accounting job way before I even had an accounting degree. I think originally I wanted to be a professional wrestler. But the tiny pro wrestling market is saturated right now with a lot of outstanding talent. There's nothing I can add to that by my being there. So I'm glad things happened the way they did. My job is dull at times, but at least I don't have constant knee and neck pains like a lot of wrestlers do and my paycheck is a lot more steady than a guy who is on the independent circuit.

    • @DC-iv4ig

      @Rock Stone I'm glad I read this. Ive being learning from JP for about 2 yrs. I'm an admirer of his presentations and information. Although I get your point.. he's passionately dedicated to sharing knowledge on the psychology of past wars and individual life advice. Choosing same phrasing in both topics like 'prepare yourself' + 'get ready for whats coming', raises thoughts towards an urgent protective well being. Anyone would be a fool to think there won't be another war for all future generations at some stage, so what is wrong with remaining/becoming strong?
      JPs referance to Jung at the end of this would support your analysis of him, but a father with a good heart and high intelligence must only have good intentions for the world, no?
