Having fished multiple s in different sizes and colors, ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 this is by far my favorite. One thing to be aware of is the sided willow blade. One side is silver and the other is the green/orange shown. This is not bad, just unconventional. In terms of fishing, I have found the lure works just fine without a tail like a craw or shad. That addition is up to you. Also, the hook part where you attach the swivel snap or tie the line is a problem on baits these days, since it's able to slide up and down. However this lure seems to be tight enough that that doesn't happen often, and you can solve it by putting a thin slice of medical tube over the hook before attaching the line. Like others have said, it's really magic on a good windy day.
Hi Josh, I don't know how to tell you this without pissing you off but, my wife kept asking me who this kid was that I kept watching so, I showed her. She actually enjoyed the video but thought you were probably a 12yr old girl! I told her, "This lad is probably a better fisherMAN than I ever could have been!!!" 83yrs old and still going strong. Keep it up son, my absolute favourite angling channel👍
@@jb-es5zj I was using the idiom which highlights that most overnight sensations have been plying their trade for a long time before they get the recognition they deserve.
Aside from the excellent production of your videos Josh, the variety of locations and fishing techniques is so impressive. Freshwater creeks, beach, headlands and estuary, there is something for everyone. Another great video Josh, keep up the great work. I believe the Sargent Baker taste OK yet are extremely bony. Many years ago Josh, I would use barrel sinker of approximately 3/4 oz painted white which I ran straight on the line to a treble hook. This set up was good for salmon, tailor and bonito. I tend to also catch more salmon during the day and tend to catch tailor into the evening.
Hi Josh Mate I have only started watching your videos and probably one of your older subscribers but what I like about them is that you’re a genuine young guy, fresh and quite honest and open about what you do and don’t know and aren’t trying to be anyone else. Keep that originality and genuineness in your channel and the subscribers will just keep coming. Your tackle walk through was simple but again genuine and excellent and teaches start up fisherman you don’t need 100 rods and reels, just a Smart Selection and try and buy quality if you can afford it. What would also be excellent for a lot of people would be a vid on how you got into filming and posting your vids and how UA-cam works for you and others just getting started out, how you select your ads, what levels you need to get to to start getting remunerated etc …: I saw this on a 4wd channel just recently and his subscribers really loved understanding how he started and how you tube works once you start getting a following. Just an idea but otherwise keep it going and keep the vids coming. Really good job buddy. 👍👍
Great clips as always mate. A little heads up if you ever forget the super glue, simply pull your plastic up over the eye off the jughead hook about 5mm and rub your thumb on the plastic till it breaks through and it will never slip off. Keep the vids coming mate 🙌🙌
Another good production Josh. I still don't know what I'm looking at when shopping for gear but every bit helps. So envious of how you make it look easy.

I have not been able to get out fishing for around two months. Living in the Northern Rivers region is a bit hard for fishing right now with the floods and damaged roads. I have seen along the coast a lot of dead fish washed up and the dirty water is going well out to sea in places. Bit of a mess here. I'll get back out there one of these days. I'm glad to see your vids Josh, I can certainly sympathise with your need to do other things as well, just know that you put a vid up, I'll watch it.

Good vid mate and a great day to fish the stones, a little tuna oil and bread burley works well to bring fish in . The little yakka you caught is actually related to the yellow tail kingfish
Nice spot for a feed for sure. A Snapper is the best fish you can get land based and it certainly looks like a great ledge for them. Think seriously about an inflatable life jacket, just in case you do go in.
Yeah I’ve got an inflatable life jacket. It just wasn’t necessary to wear on this day as it was very flat and I could easier swim up onto that ledge🤙🏼 I’m not saying to not wear a life jacket at all. And I’d usually fish this spot with a mate. Only fished it solo cause it was small seas
Nice change of location and style of fishing Josh! You looked like one of those pole fishermen catching bluefin tuna and flinging them back overhead at one stage here....😆 Terrific video work as usual too. Loads of action and fun. Keep safe and well Josh!
