Was 17 years old at the Alvin Opry in Alvin Tx, being privileged to sing a Merle Haggard song not realizing that Tony Booth was the house band’s bass guitar player. Mr Booth is an honest and very humble man. Have great respect for him and that much more since I’ve come to learn that I don’t know it all…Wish I would have invested more precious time in knowing the house band on a personal scale. Miss all of them 18yrs later. 09/18/23 @ 4:10pm eastern time. God bless
