The world misses you, Heath❤️.
🖤
Greatest actor and such a decent and wonderful human being. It's been 12 years and it still hurts. Thinking about all the movies he could have done, all the excellent performances he would have given us... he would have become one of the best actors to ever live, right at the level of Marlon Brando or Daniel Day Lewis. It's so unfair he was taken from us so soon. Miss him a lot.
@@ashara_rhaenys 🙏💔
RIP
Everyone will remember you as Joker. At least they were nice enough to add him in the tribute at the beginning of Joker.
Jake still misses him He is Matilda Rose Ledger's godfather
❤
Jake twist loves ennis del mar
wait really??!!

Do you know Jake?
Going on 12 years since his death, and I still get choked up thinking about Heath and all the beauty he gave us through his portrayals.
🙏🏻💔
Well said, friend.
Aussie’s miss our fellow Aussie, good on you mate forever in our hearts ♥️🇦🇺💯✌🏾
Holy Cow! 12 years already? Damn. I'm 12 years older and it passed like 24 hours!!! I've watched a few video's of Heath's Role and it still is Fresh and seems new & interesting! 12 years...Heath was 28 when he passed away, which means he would be 40 this year. You see so many actors in their later years performing so well. Heath would STILL be picking up roles in Billion dollar movies. Sigh, I think I'll go watch Dark Knight and have a quiet cry on the Sofa.
hah im from donegal too
I know EVERYONE talks about Heath's role as the joker. But he really was incredible in that film. I remember seeing the trailer for The Dark Knight, and seeing the joker, and I had NO idea it was Heath. I thought it was some unknown actor. When I found out he was playing the joker, I thought "Heath ledger from Brokeback Mountain, and 10 things I hate about you? There's no way he pulled off playing the joker". Boy I was wrong. To this day, I think it's the best performance in ANY movie. A lot of people doubted that he'd pull it off, and he proved EVERYONE wrong. I still get goosebumps when I hear his joker laugh.
👍🔥❤
Same 😢 he was an amazing person ❤
I stumbled apon tge movie ticit of that movie...
I still love A Knight’s Tale, it’s so underrated to me and you get to see him do it all: fight, laugh, love, cry, lose, win... he’s incredible
10 things I hate about you and Brokeback Mountain had two very different characters and performances from Heath. One which was Oscar Nominated. Why would you think he couldn't play a good joker?
I love him so much. Chris Nolan said it best when he said “A huge hole was torn in the history of cinema” when we lost Heath. I hope that he and Phillip Seymour Hoffman are somewhere drinking and having fun.
Beautifully written ❤ Let's hope!
And Robin Williams too
Heath Ledger was awesome. His performance in the Dark Knight was incredible and one of the best actings of all time.I will never forget you and your art Heath Ledger. Rest in peace
🙏❤
see Brokeback
I have seen Brokeback Mountain too,It was incredible.
And the film Candy :)
I deeply deeply miss him🥺
heath is unique and one
💖
If Michael Cane, Daniel Day-Lewis, and Gary Oldman sing your praises as a talented actor - you truly were among the best. I am pretty sure if Heath heard their words he would have been filled with nothing but pure joy and a sense of belonging and validation for all of his hard work.
❤
Uhhhhhh......Christian Bale?
Even Bale praises him. Anytime heath is mentioned he gushes
His death still saddens me. I’ll always love Heath Ledger, and I have no doubt in my mind that if he was still alive he’d be one of the best, if not the best, actor(s) working.
🙏💔
Absolutely. He’d be up there with Leo status. Offer-only. Committed 1000% to every role, whether lead or cameo. Humble. Passionate. Huge range. It’s truly a tragedy that we only got to see the very beginning of what he was capable of
I think the crazy thing is, is that when you usually watch the same actor in different movies, you usually can find similarities of themselves within each character, no matter how amazing they are. But Heath Ledger was so talented, and he worked so hard at what he did, that when I watch him as the joker, I never see Heath Ledger, but only the joker. No matter how hard I looked; and THAT is the best acting out there. His dedication towards his work and his gentle personality will be missed forever.
Beautifully written ❤
And that’s exactly why he won that Oscar. He was the Joker. He set the standard. It honestly breaks my heart that he’s no longer with us. I can only imagine the heights he would have reached if he was still here with us 😢.
Heath truly would’ve gone on to be undoubtedly Australia’s best actor, a tragic loss from someone who was so young and had so many phenomenal performances left to show the world
💔
He could've gone down as the greatest actor of all time had he still been around and I'm not even exaggerating
@@nigelmonteiro1260 yes!!
I know that he's most remembered for Joker, but I love Brokeback Mountain so much, and Heath in it was amazing. And Candy
👏❤
Check out (Two Hands) its an aussie movie pretty sure its one of his first he was so young and talented we all knew he would do great things...
@@adrianrobertson8673 Thank you for a recommendation ❤
@@adrianrobertson8673 The robbery scene in that film is hilarious, I still think about it sometimes
Honestly me too. I think cuz I was young and still in the closet and the film came out on my birthday and it was a full reset for me and it will always have such an impact on me. I cry every time I watch it
Daniel Day Lewis. What a class act. You can tell that every word he spoke was genuinely heartfelt. RIP Heath.
❤️🩹
That "I wish I knew how to quit you" scene pierced my soul up to this day
he would've been 42 yesterday. wish he was still here. RIP forever a legend
🙏🏻❤
Daniel Day-Lewis' reaction is so beautifully heartfelt. Perfectly summarised the feeling of unexpected shock and grief that comes from such a sudden loss
Yes, his response was truly touching ❤
Imagine ddl and heath ledger in the same movie together😲 the artistry and acting between them in scenes would have been mind-blowing and very powerful if it ever happened well one can only dream now I guess damm it 😞
I love Daniel. He is the best Actor of his Generation and he is a Class Act.
it makes me cry to know that Heath hasn't been forgotten. words can't explain what a performance he gave in one of the best movies in history
❤
So true listening to arron eackhart talk abt that scene he did with him were he is just walking round the hospital room muttering to him self getting in character taping into that frequency just shows how dedicated he was to his work if he was still alive right he would have been a acting giant ❤👍
I think about his talent all the time and how many great roles he had in his future. Heartbreaking to say the least.
@@speckyhotdog84anderson6 he already was an acting giant at the time. The man was a absolute phenomenon and gained legend status despite his short-lived career and life. If he was still alive now, he would certainly get large share of 'greatest actor of all time' shouts. I mean, he already gets a fair share of GOAT actor shouts inspite of only a handful of roles, so just imagine what could have been had that tragic incident not taken place on the night of 22nd January, 2008
He’s only being lost in your mind.
He had so much life in him that not even his death could extinguish.
Beautifully said ❤🙏🏻
@@joana9039 I just think he was such a special person and I think so many other people agree.

@@Tiartchannel Well that ruined my good mood, thanks for that comment.
Even though I've never been a superhero fan, there's no denying that Heath brought a depth, a haunting realism to Joker that no one else has ever been able to pull off.
👏❤
Wow, Michael Caine's amount of praise for Heath Ledger is kind of heartwarming
It really is! ❤
Heath & Jake are both such fantastic actors. I have such respect for them for their roles in Brokeback Mountain.
I was infatuated with Heath the moment I first saw him on screen 20 years ago. Amazing actor, super-natural.
❤
The only other time I ever felt the same sense of shock and loss was when River Phoenix passed away.... two enormous talents who still had so much glory to live in their careers. RIP Heath and River.
🙏🏻🕯❤
What an icon, the fact that he is still talked about a decade after the tragedy tells how important this man is ❤️
❤
That whole clip of Jake at the beginning made me realize just how aware he is of how film works
Very true
I mean you’d hope so, considering he’s a word class actor
That fact that the studio was criticized for hiring ledger as the joker is a shame. The dude had mad range. Between the patriot, monsters ball and brokeback mtn. The teen movies were a cash in. Dark knight was a monumental movie. I fell asleep to that movie for about a half a year. He was excellent in it. And he will be missed.
jake and heath where so close I can’t imagine what he feel
Right?? I think Heath's only celebrity best friend was jake..all others are speaking like but feels like they are not that affected but jake was personally affected by heath. He & Michelle both.
"A friendship can't really be explained in a sound-bite, nor can it in a three-minute interview." Truer words have never been spoken.
RIP Heath Ledger
❤❤❤
🤍✨🍃
Man, it was like losing family even though I didn't know him or ever see him in person. He seems like he was a sweet person all around.
❤
Once in a century!
Heath Freaking Ledger 😍
❤
Honestly, one of the greatest actors of all time. He went way too soon. RIP Heath❤
I’m still so in love with him (in that weird fan girl way) and so sad he’s gone. He’s my fellow Aussie gorgeous empath - that grin hid a huge amount of depth and pain over the pain of humanity. I wish so much he was still here, but glad we had him a little while 😭

RIP Heath Ledger (April 4, 1979 - January 22, 2008), aged 28
You will always be remembered as a legend.
Daniel Day Louis, what an absolute legend of a bloke. Well done
👏❤
Wow. Daniel day Lewis is one of the greatest actors ever, like of all time.. Hearing him talk about health was great, what a humbled class act.
❤
When Daniel Day Lewis talked about Heath, that broke me. Love and miss you Heath. You'll never be forgotten❤❤❤🙏
💔
I met Heath in Sydney, at the premiere party of Moulin Rouge. He was sweet, funny, and utterly unassuming.
when Michael Caine and Gary Oldman have this much praise for your acting skills...
❤
And Daniel Day Lewis...3x best actor winner, having THAT much praise.
Man, his death was so heartbreaking that I almost pass out or die with anxiety disorder. Because I couldn’t and still can’t accept the fact that Heath couldn’t watch his final movie and know that he impressed us with his performance of The Joker. The fact that that he had a promising career was tragically cut short, almost psychologically killed me.
It’s dangerous being “compulsively” obsessed of a dead actor, I know it’s painful but there’s nothing left to enjoy the legacy that actor left. I also wished he got the Oscar on his hands.
When I search about the dealing with sleep problems, I was afraid that I would suffer like that. Be careful with the internet, folks.
„I hope not to forget it“ made me cry. The way she said. Her looking away, closing her eyes.
When Gary oldman is impressed you made it
True! 👍
How's your blouse?
Heath Ledger's performance for me was like watching a live action of the Joker from the comics he was simply brilliant.
I miss Heath Ledger so much ..I see him in interviews and people talking about his greatness and I tear up..he was truly one of my most favorite actors.. I miss him..he was so young ..so beautifully talented...handsome...genuinely kind hearted and a talent to behold..I hate that he's no longer here..I hate that we as his fans will never find out what was in store for him and his greatness... what remarkably amazing work of art that he would have bestowed upon us next...you're gone for quite sometime now but your fans will never forget you Heath... you beautiful soul.
Such a beautiful comment 💔🙏🏻
I still haven't healed since we lost you, Heath. I can't 😭 miss you forever!

“Michael Caine, who’s a very experienced bloke.”
Lol
I know, that made me smile too 😊😊😊
His light was just to bright for this place... enough said.
🌟❤🙏🏻
I know everyone raves about his Joker performance, and it is spectacular; but my all time favorite performance of his, and in my opinion his best, will always be Brokeback Mountain.
Absolutely, completely agree. It was and is one of the most stunning performances I have ever seen.
@Salt why do you keep spamming the same thing over and over on every Comment. That actually turns people away, as you've become an embarrassment to God. Knock it off.
Amazing how heath ledger died so young, still left such a strong legacy behind❤
❤
I miss him like I have ever known him in real. He's such a special energy you want to feel around and be immersed into💙
The roles in DC he’d have now, and other studios, he was such an iconic and inspiring actor! He’ll never be forgotten!
❤
I still watch the imaginanarium of doctor Parnassus and fucking cry.
This man was fucking great.
I used to see him and his wife all the time in Brooklyn
Aaron E talking about Heath made me tear up. Thank you so much for this video! Happy Birthday Heath, you are badly missed.
It was truly beautiful what he told and how he told it 💔 You're very welcome, thank you for watching ❤
Ledger's last role, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus was his best work...
It's sad he couldn't finish it...
Agreed
Yeah but at least he had Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Ferrell.
He was so effortlessly spectacular in that role.
The one film of his that I cannot watch. Too sad.
Honestly, I just think he were too good to this world, such a pure soul, yet so committed and talented, attributes we just don't see everyday in mere mediocre mortals
🙏🏻❤
I wish he lived, lived, lived .... a huge loss, the heart cramps....!
He seemed like a good mate, I miss his presence....

Not Heath Ledger......
We should remember him as Heath LEGEND
❤
You don’t understand how many times I cried watching this
😥💔
I was 10 when he died but I didnt care coz I dont recognize him and I remember vaguely that I was not into the batman movies back then. When I did watch the batman movies (because there were a lot of them), I remembered being very scared of joker. Not knowing the brilliant actor who played the character so well that it scarred me for quite a while. Now I'm past that stage but nevertheless, no one can play joker better than heath ledger.
Honestly, I feel quite the same 💔
Heath Ledger took us in places most are afraid to go. Take a look at his movies with this mind set.
Beautiful comment ❤
I'm crying watching this. Heath ledger, your missed, your loved, gone to soon, the world will forever miss you. If you were here, I am convinced that you would do so much more amazing things for your fans. I love you so much and you will always be one of my favorite actors

To this day I always miss Heath Ledger his performance as The Joker is the scariest and felt realistic.

I still watch the dark knight and I skip all to all the joker scenes I still can’t believe he is gone

I've just watched Brokeback mountain for the first time and my heart just can't deal with this 😞
🥺❤
I remember watching The Dark Knight in cinemas with my dad in 2008, i was eight years old. I was absolutely terrified of the Joker after that movie, because Heath’s performance was so amazing, so genuine, that i thought he was real.
Matt Damon I think was on target “His light was too bright for this place”
"In their last moments, people show you who they really are" -The Joker
In a way, the cast and crew of TDK knew him and his organic process of playing the character
I wouldn’t mind spending 30 minutes of watching this again
Thank you 🙏🏻❤
I love how he asked Billy Bob Thornton and Christian Bale to hit him in those scenes to make them more real

I’m proud to be Australian 🇦🇺. He was a great artist. He made us Aussie proud. Also so down to earth. His light 💡 is the dark in Hollyweird. Australians realise that they are lucky to break into Hollyweird. They never forget where they come from. The fact they are proud Aussies. Make me proud. We are a lucky country. Love to all Australian actors and representing our country. Heath is and always be awesome and actor and Australian. I’m proud of you. Xx
Thank you for this lovely comment ❤ Sending best wishes to Australia! 🤗🇦🇺
Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video. It warms my heart to see fellow actors and actresses praising Heath as well as see fellow commenters speaking so well of him. Heath set the golden standard for the Joker and really showed what great acting is. He is still a case study for aspiring new talents. Even though his time here was brief, his impact and legacy is immortal. Rest easy Heath. Gone too soon.
What a great way to kill 30mins
❤😊
You are an amazing artist and still after 13 years a lot of people love you talks about you You shall the best pay actor Thanks for the many movies and so many pictures Heath you life in mine heart and soul and i miss you so much...........
Beautiful and touching comment ❤
Just an example to put Heaths talent into perspective, he was only 24/25 years old while filming Brokeback Mountain and was one of the youngest Oscars nominees in cinematic history winning 1/2. His unique skill and underrated diversity can easily be seen throughout his career that truly was just entering the prime of his performances. I believe he would of been the greatest actor of our generations .. if he isn’t considered one of, by many already. Heath was very intelligent, spiritual, down to earth and a true creative that would express through his artistry in film, photography, directing, painting, drawing and more. Not to mention he had never taken acting classes. At least we have and can appreciate the movies, memories and art he has left with us, his family, friends and daughter Matilda :)
Thank you for this beautiful and insightful comment! ❤
As just a humble fan that never knew him in person... Yeah, I still miss him. Just like so many other fans
