@@adamgalindo Actually no. If they were the same why are they named differently?
The difference is that US models have a different left stalk than countries that have mandatory fog lights. Even if you wanted a working fog light you couldn't turn it on in your car. Wiring is already there but no light and different stalk.

hi ,if I understood what you are saying, my car has the obligatory fog lights (France) with on/off button on the left control (with the front headlights and the indicators) so I cannot activate the fog lights from this same order?
Always wanted to do this but I’m lazy AF and can’t justify ripping apart the whole back end for one little light. Looks good tho!

I just did mine and it’s easier than you think when you have the connectors. Just might need another person to hold the light and pull the wires
In my personal experience once you remove the weather liner from the factory the car becomes prone to leaks. Be careful with it boys! It's difficult to get out because it's meant to seal out water
Why am I thinking that there's a better way to get to the wiring harness then removing half of the vehicle and the tail light. There's got to be access to that wiring harness under the car somewhere

The rear nuts on the plastic housing of the OEM light keep spinning with the bolt when i try to remove it , any suggestions to help remove the OEM light without them spinning?
I have the JDM itoy brake light I haven't installed it yet but I wanted those red clamps after seeing this video so I don't have to splice the wires and risk any connection issues do they sell those red clamps on Z1 or can you buy them anywhere? thank you for the video man your way just seems easier and less of a headache
Hey man yea you can get those clamps at Home Depot or autozone, I think they’re called like wire tap splicers or something along those lines. And thanks man I appreciate it! 🙏
Any tips for making sure the wiring doesn’t hang post installation. I installed mine on a 19 Nismo and everything works just noticed the wiring harness hanging too close to the exhaust tip on the left side. When I checked underneath there was no where to zip tie or secure the harness to anything that I could see. Any advice?
I just zip tied the wires together in a loop at the top close to the taillight so that the excess wire doesn’t hang loose onto the exhaust

Was the weather stripping difficult to reinstall? I just got my z and also just got my 4th brake light / morimoto tail lights and I'm max hyped package came today ! I'm just dreading trying to put it all back together haha
No the weather stripping was fairly easy to take off and put back on. And that’s sick! I can’t wait until I get some morimoto tails and headlights
hi! good video. i’m confused with the splicing wires and stuff how did you fuse the wires together? like strip the head light wires? and clamp them parallel?
Yea all you need to is clamp the two wires together using the wire clamps. The clamps have a metal connector that cuts through the outer layer of the wire and connects them

Just purchased Morimoto taillights for my 370z and purchased these same 4th break lights but smoked out(all black), do the red clamps just magically make the wires connect to each other, or did you have to cut it to make the 2 wires connect? Hopefully, you see this although it has been over a year ago lol. But you did like one of my comments on another video so I have hope lol
Not necessary to cut, the wires just have to be close enough to each other to be able to clamp into the rep clamp

The Z1 Motorsport 4th light and the iJDMTOY 4th light are basically the same thing right? I didn’t really see a difference between the 2.
From what I can tell they look about the same. I just went with Z1 since I’ve bought multiple things from them and know they’re reputable

Clamping them works as well if you are able to

Yea it’s because it’s tinted. They have a clear option if that’s what you’re looking for

Don’t know the exact dimensions, it doesn’t say on the website but I can try measuring it tomorrow

I have a v1 nismo. Would I have to buy a rear diffuser that has a place for a fourth brake light ? If so where can I find this diffuser for a nismo
I think you would have to buy a v2 bumper and the plastic container that houses the brake light in place

@@michaelgalvan9995 Hey, late reply but i have a V1 Nismo with a 4th "brakelight"/Foglight. Maybe its EU/UK/JDM Spec only and not in the USA? Check if you have a "dummy" in place like a plastic piece hiding the hole

How many red clips came with the brake light?
Don’t remember exactly but enough for the job and maybe a few extras
After the install did it reset your settings since you disconnected the battery?

Hey man I kinda need help with the red clips that you used. Does it matter which side each wire has to be in or do I just insert whichever wire in either side of the clamp?
The side technically doesn’t matter but sometimes the inner part of the clip has a wall which makes it so that only the end of a wire can fit and not pass through. The outer part would be for the wire that’s whole and has no end since there is no wall to block it off. But as long as both wires are tucked into the metal part it does not matter. Hope that wasn’t too confusing

The running light does not show when lights are on (off) or (auto) when during the day… is this normal
They should be on at all times while the car is on. The wires may not be completely fused together or loose

I currently purchased a varis body kit the rear bumper has a square knotched out at the rear bottom
And so the 370 rear fog light fits perfect there but thought I’d ask

Why would you put aftermarket one when stock one is working fine lot of nismo owners thinks the 4th brake light is fake but it's not you just gotta turn on
The 4th brake light is fake, it literally has no wiring or power leading down there and no bulb. The Japan models have the brake light but US models don’t
You're wrong first I thought the same thing I was wrong its not fake it works trust me I have 17z nismo from canada
