    So, the story is ;
    - Larry is accused of murder by vehicular manslaughter.
    - He makes up a bunch of nonsense to defend himself, which was stupid, because he didn't actually kill anybody.
    - A person claiming to be a magician contacts Larry Butz' step-son and claims to be the killer
    - The Step-son (Who is also a Clown) doesn't believe the caller, and wants his step-father arrested
    - Turns out Larry's fiancee was the one driving, and Larry wasn't actually in the vehicle.
    - However, it is revealed that Larry's daughter sent a letter to the police trying to implicate Larry
    - Prior to bringing up this evidence, Miles discovers that this evidence is fake
    - He also learns that Larry's daughter Rita, is actually his fiancee Daphne
    - However, it turns out that the murder may have been staged by the police from the get-go, and that Larry was a completely unrelated party. His incestuous fiancee seemingly discovered the fake crime scene, and attempted to use it as an excuse to have him sent to jail.
    - The fake crime in question was done to draw out a criminal magician who for decades evaded arrest
    - The police have captured the supposed 'murder victim' and if the magician is not sent to prison, they will be murdered
    - The criminal in question appears the be the same magician who called Larry's step-son earlier, trying to convince them that 'he' was the murderer, presumably in order to protect the victim

That’s a really good summary, actually.
Honestly, this story makes a surprising amount of sense, considering the.. author.

you forgot to mention that Step-son said his parents are cops and they know everything
thias means that Daphne (who must be his biological mother since Larry is explicitly called out to be his step-father) is a cop and involved in the frameing

3:40 "I learned about it from the world's worst source of information, my parents." This has to be one of the greatest lines in fiction ever written, and it's random gibberish created by AI. It's hard not to feel inadequate with one's own budding writing efforts when this is the future competition.

12:28 I like how even the AI managed to realize that it was mixing up whoever the defendant/accused and prosecutor/defense with Edgeworth going "why are you trying to disprove your own theory" at Phoenix, who is doing exactly that.

I love how it gets more and more confusing and yes I did watch this already
Edit: how funny would it be if someone got actuall lawyers and a judge to act this out

nobody can or should deny how great AID WAS. it's competitors/substitutes will take years to get everything they got in because they'd either be pivoting from their primary goals or doing the support as a side project

Loved that game. Sometimes it would let you do whatever you want, sometimes it would railroad you into a story no matter how you tried to avoid it.

I gotta say the funniest thing of this video is when the prosecutor somehow becomes a witness who some are saying is a suspect.

What makes me lol every time is that Larry is first called as a simple witness, gets questioned on his every answer by both lawyers and almost convicted in less than 2 minutes. Afterwards, he becomes the accused :D

    HOLD IT!
Your Honor, there is a major lack of evidence here!
Two questions have yet to be answered during this trial.
First of all, how exactly could the victim 'Honkie Honkers' have been blown apart by a laser, yet still appear in the courtroom? There are *no burn marks on his clothing at all.* and second. How do you explain that *such advanced technology does not exist in the modern age, and that there's hardly a murder weapon to begin with?*
