obviously The Last of Us likes to hit hard emotionally, so multiple people are crying over these episodes, but what I gathered from the first reactions on this channel is that Elise has to be genuinely compassionate and caring, the world needs more people like her
She should have told. Let the brothers have their last night. Give Henry a chance to think, and accept the situation. As it was, Henry acted on extreme emotional impulse.
Great reaction, thank you. Also wanted to say Elise is the exact spitting image of a close friend of mine who is no longer with us. Watching is also sort of comforting, in a way. So thanks for that, too.

@@dayangmasudi Its a real person. Theres an article about how the kid actor was scared of him during shooting until he had to show that it was just a normal guy under the suit
remember when Henry said he never killed anyone, and the most violent thing he's done is point a loaded weapon at Joel...? Yeah, goes from that to killing his brother, then himself. Sad story.
As for the big guy it's called a Bloater. They are very armored and the fungus runs throughout the body. It would be like shooting a moving tree. Head shots or molotiv cock tales are the only way to kill them fast in game.
it's not just Naughty Dog. It's Craig Maizen who is the main showrunner. Bill didn't die in the game, but here he did. This is an HBO production. Let's not argue semantics. When people say HBO, they're generically talking about everyone involved. The show, an HBO production, took liberties with certain characters.
That was a Bloater. Infected for 5-10 years. Definitely not the 20 year guy lol Whenever they show one of them off it’s going to be next level compared to what we’ve seen so far.
Excellent acting by Bella in the scene where Henry shoots himself. Her whimpers instinctively gave me a fatherly urge to hug her Ellies "I'm sorry" at the end got me so hard. @Elise: Same here. Crying counter 4 of 5 episodes
What do you think Joel would do if Henry did to Tommy what he did to Kathleen's brother? You know the answer. Would you react to Joel the same way you reacted to Kathleen, by saying "shoot him"? If not, ask why, b/c there would be no difference, objectively. That is the entire central point of the games/show.
Kathleen is indeed a baaad leader, wasnt sure last week if the writers fucked up or it was their plan, but this episode truly showed and angry and emotional she is
Also made sense why everyone followed her. She was the sister of the beloved leader and her grief was their grief. She pointed them in a direction they all wanted to go.
Finally crossed the line of being unscientific? No. Those big guys are bred from massive and strong body types like Hugo lol. Probably. Maybe you can take some lessons from that big guy to win your jujitsu matches. After Kathleen said Sam was supposed to die, and that kids die all the time, she got what she deserved.
This isn't on HBO. Their fate is the exact same one in the game. Perry, as being the actor for in-game Tommy, going out this way was actually very on point actually. It's basically one of the death animations when you get caught by that type of infected. I'm sure he was happy to go out like that. Personally this was the weakest episode for me. This part is imo way better in the game and I feel they really cut it too short. It's something I was worried about already, because they were condensing a lot in the previous episodes too. Henry & Sam somehow also did not really get me this time, even though it's one of the worst moments in the game.

Katherine killed by an infected child = POETIC JUSTICE
The irony of the one in the middle talking about Kathleen looking like Winona Ryder lol

Sam didn't survive, so Henry couldn't endure
Elise... It's okay to hate-love this extraordinary series - we all do!
Haha absolutely
Theres a giant underground "city" under Kansas City. That's where the infected came from.
Irl?
this has become one of my favorite channels 🥰much love from brazil, guys
Thanks 😊
With me and my siblings, only my little sister was cool with face paint. My little brother and I wanted nothing to do with it lol.
Fun fact: Kathleen is actually Rose from Two and a Half Men
The neighbor?
@@LifeAlmostWithoutus yes, the stalker
I can’t speak for everyone else, but I love you as part of the show man. Don’t think we’re just watching because of the girls. I like all your intersecting observations, you each bring something to the table. I don’t mean to gush on y’all but you’re entertaining and I don’t know that I would find these reaction videos as fun if it weren’t the three of you.
🫶 thanks bud. We appreciate ya.
@@LifeAlmostWithoutus I have to agree. It's the dynamic of all three of you that makes it so entertaining and enjoyable. You all bring something unique to the table.
36:14 technically you aren't wrong, since the fungus have the full control of the body, turning the host into a 'zombie'
You guys are my favorite Last of Us reactors. Keep it up. PS, Elise fan club continues to grow every week :P
Here's your tissues! Thanks for being awesome y'all. Elise you gotta stay. This story is worth it.
Thanks for the tissues! Elise will be happy lol
Thank you!!!
You're the best!
Thanks for the Reaction!! Elise and Lisa are 😍🔥😂 ✌
I am very okay with the infected being called zombies, the ants who gets infected by the fungus in real life are sometimes called "zombie ants".
Lisa: “When I see Kathleen, I just see Will’s mom from Stranger Things. I can’t take her seriously in this role.”
Hugo and Elise: “That’s not the same actress.”
Lisa: “…….It’s not?”
Elise: “Yeah Will’s mom is Winona Ryder.”
Lisa: “Oh………..Maybe they just look alike then.”
😂
😅
lol I thought about editing it out just cause I didn’t want my cute wife to feel dumb, but I said ravers at one point so we’re all in this together 😅
@@LifeAlmostWithoutus
You gotta keep the goofs. They’re half the fun. Also the G Shock running joke 😂
26:56 "Joel and ellie are in it to win it" I know right 🙁
45:08 Lmaooo They should find some G shocks 😭😭😭
I’ll lose it if they find gshock branded watches lol
That's Shaquille O'Neal got infected
😂
What if it's Yao Ming instead?
But yeah, why would Shaq and Yao Ming hanging around in Kansas at 2003?
Ok, Hugo you're gonna have to spend some big bucks and get some tissue. We want Elise to come back!! You know it's great when it can make you so emotional. We'll have to wait and see if Elise's letter works or not. Not holding by breath.
That's a talented young gymnast
It’s worse knowing it was coming. Right after the battle and where “safe” I was a mess from that point. 😢
Kleenex for Elise.
Every week I invite The Last of Us into my heart to make me feel things I never wanted to feel.
Aww dude thanks. We’re just gonna have to keep the tissues stacked around her
Episode 3 was the calm before the storm
For sure
I really enjoyed your reaction, please keep making more videos like these👍
Will do 🤗
The last of us should make official tissues . Lol they would sell out every Sunday.
Even played the games for years they were still able to make me shed some tears. T-LOU (the last of us) the 🐐
Fun Fact: The infected were all real people. They wanted the movements to look more natural so they chose to use actors instead of animated CG.
Really good freaking call
What about bloater?
@@dayangmasudi I'm not sure but if it was a real person it was probably CG enhanced or mocapped. The rest were actual people though. They showed a clip of the behind the scenes after the episode.
@@dayangmasudi I feel like that could've been a suit?
@@dayangmasudi Its a real person. Theres an article about how the kid actor was scared of him during shooting until he had to show that it was just a normal guy under the suit
remember when Henry said he never killed anyone, and the most violent thing he's done is point a loaded weapon at Joel...? Yeah, goes from that to killing his brother, then himself. Sad story.
Yeah pretty tragic indeed
Interesting fact sams actor is actually deaf
As for the big guy it's called a Bloater. They are very armored and the fungus runs throughout the body. It would be like shooting a moving tree. Head shots or molotiv cock tales are the only way to kill them fast in game.
Makes sense
"Is that the 20 year guy?!" Why, yes. Yes it is.
Kathleen isn't Will's mom, but she is Rose from Two and a Half Men. Lol
😅
katline put her revenge but the town safetly. She knew of the infection problem,
Love the reactions guys.
Elise stays!!
See in my opinion episode 5 is the best one so far
Yeah it was pretty solid overall
cool video guys
Love the reactions 😊
HBO doesn’t make the decisions about who bites the dust or who gets to stay. That’s all in the game created by Naughty Dog.
it's not just Naughty Dog. It's Craig Maizen who is the main showrunner. Bill didn't die in the game, but here he did. This is an HBO production. Let's not argue semantics. When people say HBO, they're generically talking about everyone involved. The show, an HBO production, took liberties with certain characters.
Woahh, can't wait to watch, in a little bit *Saved to watch list*
🫶
@@LifeAlmostWithoutus Have you heard about the Ben Shapiro outrage over this show?
I have not actually.
That was a Bloater. Infected for 5-10 years. Definitely not the 20 year guy lol Whenever they show one of them off it’s going to be next level compared to what we’ve seen so far.
First it was bill and frank now sam and henry and tess
Sarah was first
You guys should watch invincible if u havent already
I hear great things
From now on,you guys should call your subscribers raivers 😂😅
I think the cute girl on the left, already knew what was gonna happen to henry
She’s a prophet
your left or their left.
@@remyd8767 bro wut 😭
great reaction
9:25 "When I see Kathleen is see Will's mom on stranger things... brown hair, brown eyes... white women" This whole part is killin me 😂
😂😅 yeah… lol
Excellent acting by Bella in the scene where Henry shoots himself. Her whimpers instinctively gave me a fatherly urge to hug her
Ellies "I'm sorry" at the end got me so hard. @Elise: Same here. Crying counter 4 of 5 episodes
Did Hugo win his match ? Also great reaction you guys are great 🔥
It’s this evening! I’ll update you 😊
@@lisadarling_bjj thanks!
I did not win 😞. Next time
What do you think Joel would do if Henry did to Tommy what he did to Kathleen's brother? You know the answer. Would you react to Joel the same way you reacted to Kathleen, by saying "shoot him"? If not, ask why, b/c there would be no difference, objectively. That is the entire central point of the games/show.
🤷🏻♂️
I checked the previous episode, and they don't appear
Thanks 😊
we goona need update on the bjj results
Competing in a few hours. I’ll comment and pin it
Update: I lost 😞 haha
@@LifeAlmostWithoutus no shame in that... GG
The things this show does to my emotions should be illegal 😕
Kathleen is indeed a baaad leader, wasnt sure last week if the writers fucked up or it was their plan, but this episode truly showed and angry and emotional she is
Also made sense why everyone followed her. She was the sister of the beloved leader and her grief was their grief. She pointed them in a direction they all wanted to go.
thats why in leaderahip roles you need to rule by logic and not emotion. she was a terrible leader
@@masoprid3 that's the point of her character. terrible leaders already exist in this normal world, let alone a desperate world.
Super Thanks.
You’re the best!!
Good luck on your BJJ match!
Fingers crossed!
Zombies as a term is fine, infected can be a mouthful to say sometimes.
It's just one more syllable . 😂
@@CharifRocka 🤓
@@CharifRocka yep, you're right.
This episode hurt.
Ooof yeah 🥲
It's so ironic that Kathleen got killed by a child clicker.
“It’s like rain on your wedding day’ 🎶
What are you reacting to negatively at 39:57 I don't understand? He's just saying they'll all go together^^
Because when he said “I’ll tell him in the morning”, it almost feels like it’s never gonna happen 😞
