This is your drv version. Use "Scooter hacking utility" to identify your microcontroller

GD32E-ver. 3.1

It is also written on the board itself.

I have a Xiaomi Pro 2, I downgraded it successfully from 158 to 134 with ST LINK V2 (Dashboard).
Then I wanted to flash 129 for then install 075 for custom display.
After successfully flashing 129, the display was still stuck with Lock and Bluetooth icon (but my mobile phone disconnected strangely).
I stupidly turned the display off and it doesn't anymore turn on.
When I press power button the red back tail blinks 33 times.
I tried to connect ST LINK to the Dashboard (only 3 pin no 5v) for a write flash but it gets no connection.
doing this procedure to the ESC Board will fix the Dashboard?
it's the same as flashing though the Dashboard?
Now I unplugged the battery hoping to find a way to unrbick my Pro 2.

I need help with your huge knology 🙏🏾 I just got an new mi pro 2 (04/2023 Model with v3.3 controller drv252 ble158), tried flash with st link and all, but got bricked (error 35/27) 😪, so using the st link I restored the drv and s/n to the factory default, ok worked normally again. My doubt is, if I order a kit (Dashboard and controller v3.0 drv155 ble129) I will have to change the BMS controller as well? Or just install the new dash and mb?

If you flashed ble129 and dashboard doesn't work, you don't need to flash esc. Disconnect the dashboard from the scooter completely. Connect 5v power from stlink to it, and do write flash.

So, i accidentally flashed a wrong file, and now the power button is acting weird. It does turn on, but I cant go into eco mode or pair it to my phone. Im guessing this is related or what? And is it worth for me to do it (i have no background in this), or ahould i just buy a new esc and replace it

According to the Scooterhacking app, it says my scooter is a mi 3 but xiaoflasher says it's a M365_3, which one is correct?

I don't use xiaoflasher. I think M365_3 probably means mi3. If it has dashboard with numbers and blue brake caliper, then it's mi3.

@@MindaugasJocionisI have to correct you that that is not the case, if you only flash the dashboard, the scooter will spit an error 42 at you, referring to a BLE/DRV firmware mismatch, which blocks all flashing/connecting operations through bluetooth, so yes, flashing the ESC/controller IS necessary in Mi 3s as they are the first one where xiaomi stepped their flashing protection up.
@@PureComedi Well, I mean, to be able to flash a hacked DRV over Bluetooth, you need only to flash the dashboard with ST-Link. And yes, you are correct; if afterward, you flash an ordinary hacked DRV, you will get error 42. For Mi3, it is necessary to use a patched DRV or special BLE, or to use SHFW from the scooter hacking utility. I think SHFW is the best option; you can tweak it in real-time with the app, and it prevents you from flashing the wrong firmware. And probably, at first, it will be necessary to flash DRV003 (or attempt DRV downgrade with "scooter hacking utility") to be able to flash anything on the mainboard, but this is another story :) The first step is to flash your dashboard (BLE) with ST-Link to be able to do anything.

Another bit of correction on the last part, we use Reflasher (it contains everything to flash drv and ble for basically all supported scooters) for that, as I said you can't connect to a scooter with error 42 so you can't really just downgrade it in SHU, and also, flashing order doesn't matter at all, you can start with the esc on the Mi 3 if you want to, it won't matter, either way im not trying to be offensive or anything just want to get things straight based on experience.
Strange, I have a mi3, 2 years ago I flashed an unpatched drv, got error 42, after that I was able to connect to it via Bluetooth without any problems and flash it.
A few guys have also done this successfully, just by downgrading the ble.
Maybe something has changed, no idea.
Anywai in worst case you can flash it with stlink.

This method is for bricked controllers. Otherwise, flashing the firmware using Android apps via BT will be much easier and faster.

Hello, i have a problem
Esc v3.0 (same as you) and all is soldered and connected like the video but i don't get the green light
only the red shows up
and the ReFlasher program on the pc say "couldn't connect to st-link"

It means that st link is not recognized by pc. Did you installed the drivers? Might be bad port, extension cable etc.

Ok i installed the driver now, but it still doesn't work but now the progran say "couldn't connect to target" 🤦
This indicates that STLink cannot establish a connection with the board. Please review the soldering and wiring connections to ensure they are correctly attached to the designated pins.@@wiilu0073
I'm quite sure that the solders are properly made cause I've checked with a multimeter.
What is The Use of Downgrading the Controller?

Yes, downgrading the dashboard BLE is enough to be able to flash the controller over Bluetooth. This is for those who bricked their controller when flashing the wrong firmware, or they bricked it somehow else.

To flash the shfw (or DRV) from shu over the BT, you need to flash the dashboard (BLE). Of course, if in your scooter is a blocked BLE version.
Mainboard (ESC) needs to be flashed only if it gets bricked for some reason. (wrong DRV flashed, or sometimes for no reason while flashing). Subscribe, thx.

Something happend in the flashing, and know both display are saying error 35 and sometimes 27.
Do you think a stlink will be able to fix the problem.

No, you only will unbrick esc. To be able to flash custom firmware to mainboard (esc) over bluetooth with original dashboard, you need to downgrade ble (dashboard firmware) like in this video: ua-cam.com/video/IvQ4oT2u_vg/v-deo.html

If you flash the firmware for a new type of controller, it will not be bricked. The problem was that you flashed the wrong firmware. The best option is to install shfw from the "Scooter Hacking Utility" android app. SHU recognizes the version of esc and flashes the correct one.

What do you mean by "new drv version"? New motherboard version (ESC3.1)?
If so, you need to check the "GD32" box.
Usually "target not found" means poor soldering or incorrect wiring to the stlink.

This error is due to flashing the wrong DRV to the mainboard. Probably, your mainboard is 3.1 or 3.2 with GD32 chip version, and you flashed DRV made for 3.0 STM32 mainboard. Reflash your mainboard again and use the "Scooter Hacking Utility" Android app. It automatically recognizes the mainboard model and flashes the correct firmware. Subscribe, thanks.

It's tied to your scooter's serial number (to Mihome app), so I think it's possible, but you'll need to get an unused serial number or used and removed from mihome account. If your scooter has BLE less than 155 you can change your scooter serial number over Bluetooth with apps like "downG" etc. (there is no need to dissasemble).

Check on internet there are plenty of them :) I believe you can use random just with correct number on the beginning according to your scooter model.

I bought st link v2 but it cannot be recognized on my old windows 7 laptop, installed drivers and everything, will not work, only blinks red. SOmebody with clue?
Try miduflasher (v1.0.5)
If that does not help, try on a different port, or another pc, if that does not help, probably a faulty stlink.

@@MindaugasJocionis thx for response, it was not faulty st link. I needed to connect it to stationary PC that provided 5v to usb. Then I didnt manage to make scooterflashing utility program to start but I solved it wit m365rec software and it worked.

Yes, it is possible to remove the coating from the board with isopropyl alcohol, connect 5V to the connector, and hold the data pins by hand. However, I'm unsure what will happen if your hand moves while the bootloader is being erased.

What do i do if the screws on the bottom are all weared down and wont come off

@@moviegeek9127 Perhaps you blocked it with a firewall, or did not allow access to your network, or the laptop was not connected to the Internet. It should automatically download the mocrosoft .net core.
You can do this manually, but then you will also have to manually download the drv and place it in the correct folder.

What model of scooter?
Its the xiaomi essential 07/2020 model , i tried to flash it via Bluetooth, at first i saw a AO in the dashboard and when it finished installing just the 0 of the speed, but it did not change modes or the flashlight working and even i could not turn it off
There are no codes flashing neither the scooter is working
I flashed the Drv 218 essential zip that i found online
So, you have flashed shfw.
A0 means the battery is fully charged. To start riding, you need to set the throttle curve in the "Scooter Hacking Utility" app.
It's strange that you can't turn it off with a button.
Perhaps it's just soft brick. Try disconnecting the battery for a while, as shown in this video: ua-cam.com/video/LLi2S2m4URo/v-deo.html

The only way to unbrick esc is as shown in the video. It has nothing to do with dashboard, it's mainboard (esc) problem.

I have 1s scooter, no reaction on power button. Battery board led flashing red 3 short and 1 long time after I press reset button.

@@MindaugasJocionis its my brother scooter, he said that power on button worked only with charger plugged in for 1-2 minute, there was some number on screen, mby error Codes, but he dont remember, because scooter goes ok. One or two times i saw flashing stop signal many times. Then one morning it suddenly bricked.
On bms board is smal button in corner, if i press it then got 3 short and 1 long flash. Section voltages are from 4.04 to 4.10 volts. On good battery led always must flash with blue.
If you have reset the BMS and the problem still persists, the first thing to do is check the cable connections and battery cell solder joints for cracks.

This means the st link is not connected to the controller. Is the controller original?
Update stlink firmware, double check soldering and make sure that wires are connected to correct stlink pins.

And if you are trying this without soldering, you will first need to remove the coating from the solder points on the controller. Use isopropyl alcohol, or something similar.

@@wiilu0073 I ended up buying another one that worked straight away from the downgrade app. The key is that no xiaomi app should be on your phone. But now I have another issue with my scooter 🤦🤦🤦🤦
Seems like the motor has giving up, if I try to go with it the front wheel starts to vibrating, it started to doing it when I was coming downhill and the motorbrake was turning on.
I'm getting to the point that I might just gonna throw it away 😆🤦
Hi I recently purchased a Xiaomi m365 scooter, but have trouble pairing it to the app. I have an iPhone and when I try to connect to the app, it shows up, but when it reaches the "press the power button to pair" I press the button and nothing happens. What should I do? Would reflashing the board help in this case?
I don't think this is related to the motherboard firmware.
Does any error appear? If the scooter is connected to one account, you will not be able to connect it to another. But an error should appear (at least in the Android application).

@@MindaugasJocionis thanks for the reply. Is there another workaround such as replacing the Bluetooth chip? I bought it second hand and the previous owner said that he doesn’t have the mi home account anymore. Also, I’m on iPhone so whenever I try to connect it and reach the “press the power button stage” it just turns the light on, but no error appears.

It might be because of a clone ESC as well, who knows what was done with that scooter...
