All I do now is finger detangle. It’s honestly the best. Your hair starts to “train” itself to detangle with ease.
My hair doesn’t even shed like it used to when I used brushes/combs.
The Briogeo deep conditioner is amazing! I use it on wet hair and it melts into my hair.

Honestly you guys, don’t just listen to what one UA-camr with your hair type. Watch curly UA-camr who do and don’t have your curl type. I have thick type 3c/4a hair and I watch everyone and i found a hair routine that works for me and I’m loving it. Natural is a task at first but you can learn from different hair type wash day routine and products.

I literally just rip out my 3b curls with a brush. I also wear my hair in a depressed bun weeks on end sometimes and it takes like 2 hrs to get the mattes out

I’ve tried doing my hair routine in the shower 3x times and it’s not for me. I’ve used twice as much products that wasn’t needed to help detangle my hair and even then my hair still wasn’t detangled. I honestly don’t have the patience for it and it’s awkward for me to do my hair naked 🙁. #Afrotastic

Yo! 💦 If my hair is really tangled/dry I'll detangle with coconot oil before hopping in the shower and shampooing. I usually detangle with my tangle teezer after I thoroughly work my condition in with my hands. My holy grail conditioner is the shea moisture manuka honey and mafura oil. I'm a product junkie, but I don't even try other conditioners anymore I love that one so much.

I see how long your hair is! ever consider straightening it or braiding it to try a different style to really show off your hair length?!
how much time did this take? I use to finger detangle in the shower and I did have less shedding. However, it would take 45 minutes+ and I would be out of hot water by the time I finished. I am not sure if I was being slow or my hair didn't like the product I was using.
This took probably about 15-20 minutes max
I have a question, do we wash our hair with no shampoo after deep conditioning?

Also Lydia, I had a quick question.i wear a head scarf for religious reasons and wash and goes are pointless for me. I try to keep my hair stretched so I comb it pretty much everyday (this is of late, I'm trying to take more and better
Care of it. Am I damaging my hair. I experience a little breakage but don't have massive knots on washday. Would Love your insight, your hair is the best!
P.s I do spray with water and add a little product before i comb
