My best friend is Turkish. Born there and moved here when he was 10. Just got back after 4 more years over there. ALL surgeries are extremely inexpensive. He a got a mouth full of implants for $4000. That includes removal, teeth and a follow up appointment. That same replacement costs over $35,000 here in the US.
Face it, the US medical system is here to profit and profit only. If they weren't getting paid to let our elders die during COVID, they would have found a way to get them on $500/month prescriptions.
Education system, medical system, financial system all need to be broken down and rebuilt to benefit the people and the people ONLY
This is misinformation is beyond retarded. The system maybe corrupted but no doctor is letting his patient die willingly. There simply wasnt enough resource for everyone during the height of the first covid pandemic.
Not the covid scam...

Thats true im not gonna lie but wait a little after turkey becomes a main thing and you will see the prices after ahhahahha
Hospitals lost money because of covid. Health insurance made tons. You should educate yourself.
I'm sorry, Dr., but doing it in the U.S. doesn't guarantee you know what you're getting either. It's not like it's guaranteed to be good if it's done in the U.S.

Turkey’s health service is top tier. In any kinda procedure you could do your research and get a top notch job done.
I’ve talked to a veteran from the U.S. and he was talking about a hip replacement type of procedure and it was very specific one. He found out one in Turkey and he was very surprised and happy, in a good way.

For those who don't know much about Turkey. Turkey has a good health tourism overall not just for this procedure. Same regulations as EU and the price used to be quite same maybe a bit cheaper than europe but because of the currency crisis (from 1 dolar equals 2 turkish lira to 1 dolar equals 17 turkish lira), it got cheaper last several years for foreigners . Also in the West Asia and middle east, Turkey has the most advance health care facilities so for years anyone who are wealthy get their medical treatment like cancer treatment in Turkey. So they have luxury medical facilities design for that. Due to money depreciation now it become available to middle class in the West.
Turkey does not follow the same regulations as EU that’s just false
@@ovs4744 which partical regulation are you referring? 🤔
@@ovs4744 You're so ignorant. We are not in the EU and we have our own regulations that is on par with many countries.
Why do people leave out the fact that Turkey is experiencing rapid inflation and the Turkish currency is losing value when saying that plastic surgery is cheap in Turkey? Plastic surgery in Turkey was the same price as in America before 2017. You would be paying the same price + the plane ticket + accommodation. Before 2018, we couldn't get a vacation in Antalya because it was too expensive for us (We lived in America, so we used dollar obviously) even when we converted our dollars to Turkey currency (lira). But now, we can get a vacation in Antalya by converting our dollars to lira because Turkish currency lost value. It became cheap for us. 1 lira is 18 dollars now!
In the U.K. there are no regulations around Botox and filler treatments, which means the actual treatment can be performed by anyone with or without training. In Turkey, there are stricter regulations regarding nonsurgical cosmetic treatments. Only aesthetic surgeons, dermatologists and specialist doctors can administer Botox and derma fillers. Turkey's medical facilities are in top 500 best universities in the world. Nearly 50 medical facilities in Turkey are accredited by the Joint Commission International, of which over 90% are hospitals. JCI is a nonprofit health accreditation organization based in the United States. It is the top criterion for medical travelers. Hospitals are frequently inspected by the Ministry of Health Inspection Board. One of the claims made in the British press was that Turkish surgeons do not need insurance to practice their profession. This is entirely false. By law, all doctors must have insurance in Turkey. This is called "compulsory financial liability insurance" for cases of medical malpractice and it provides pecuniary and non-pecuniary damages while also covering the litigation expenses of doctors, dentists and specialist chambers working in private or public health institutions and organizations.

I've known several people go to Turkey and other places and pay 25% of the cost for dental work, such as veneers, crowns, and many other things like hair, eye treatments and facelifts etc and not one has reported disappointment. Reality is that in the USA, the doctors are too expensive and these treatment are for the upper middle class and rich. In places like Hungary and Turkey, regular earners can afford to save up and have treatments that are cosmetically life altering. They would never be able to afford the costs in Canada, Australia Western Europe or the USA. Like Dr. Gary notes early in this video, the places WHERE you get things done, even within the USA can be more expensive. So people need to find a place in the world they can afford without comromising quality, which is very much available in Thailand, Turkey and Hungary. Some great medical people there. Just because they aren't American, doesn't mean they don't have American training or excellent local training and long educations like in the USA. USA is totally overpriced and the insurance premiums and college costs for their medical students and practioners make the USA for the elite.
Great analysis. I would add that people shouldn’t be afraid of going to these foreign countries because many doctors that are in the US are foreigners themselves. Hence, no need to be xenophobic when you are seeking to alter your life in a positive and transformative way via cosmetic surgery or other less invasive alterations. I’m so happy that UA-cam can help democratize these types of services. Go to Turkey and enjoy some baklava with your new hairline!
Does anybody have names of facial surgeons in Turkey or Hungary? I had a car crash & would like some work done but the west is waaaay too expensive.

@@LorienzoDeGarcia Well, they should have both theoretical knowledge and practical knowledge, one of the advantages turkish doctors have that they have a lot of practical knowledge because they just perform more treatments, procedures, operations, etc. when it comes to hair transplant specifically i think your doctor should cover your needs and wants. Before & After results speak for themselves, always. Also depends on the style you want, if you want a more natural look don't go for a doctor who's famous for providing sharp looks. if they looks sketchy at all, avoid it like the plague. And most importantly make sure they have a TÜRSAB license, otherwise they're not certified to provide services to foreign patients.

To me, the issue is when the patient doesn't speak the same language as the doctor and goes home immediately after the surgery without an in-person follow-up. I m from usa and 6 mo ago I went the turkey for hair transplant I got 3500 root planted results amazing paid $800 with free prp 5 times my wife says i look 10 yrs younger love it love it love it...
Would you please Share the Name of the clinic
I have had few friends from the States and Canada they went to a clinic in Tuekry with affordable price a year ago and now i'm Surprised with the results they got!
I'm in love with Dr. Gary.
I actually went to the same clinic as mike around a month ago and i had the same exact doctor analyse my hair. Its a small but nice facility and the doctor seemed to really care about my hair line and he spent close 20 minutes just "drawing" my new hairline. Very friendly. But one downside, in the middle of the whole thing they forgot to transplant a very small portion of my head on the side that i didnt notice until i went back home. I doubt it will be noticeable once my hair grows but still. Overall good experience
What’s the name of the clinic?
Smile hair clinic
Do you use fin and min now?
@@chrisjennings1204 i use finasteride now but didnt bother doing minoxidil just because of the hair shedding i was told in the clinic. I dont think i even need finasteride because my hair stopped falling a while ago. I was a nord 3 i think. But i took finasteride anyway because of how cheap it was in turkey. Got almost 2 years worth supply for around 15 or so canadian dollars
@@makifaeq2404 holy shit that's insane. You could start slangin that on the blackmarket here lol silk road for fin
This is why I chose Dr. Gary for my hair transplant in October. He keeps is 100 with no BS and very knowledgeable. Sometimes cheapest isn’t the best.
Can I ask you how much your hair cost?
@@LindaLinda-ld8lx $16k. I’m getting my frontal which isn’t much and some of my crown. It’s going to be between 1600-2000 grafts.
@@Mr.Armstrong9999 so it would be approximately 30k for 4000 grafts
@@The88Turk That I don’t know my guy but if you need 4000, just keep it bald in my eyes. Myself I have a lot of hair. Just some weak spots that I want back.
@@Mr.Armstrong9999 Keep it bald? I dont know if you look at the video but Mike Majlak just had 4500 grafts done for 2000 dollars. So if you I ever need 4000 grafts I wouldnt keep it bald in my eyes.
You are just awesome!!!!!!❤
Many overseas surgeons are UK, USA or AUS trained. It’s a matter of doing your homework.
My friend and I had dental work done in Thailand by an English trained dental surgeon. In her offices she employs someone who just does implants and another who does root canals. The team of three plus the radiographer consulted on our treatment and we had better more efficient care than we would have had at home.
What was quoted as $25,000 in australia was $7,000 in Thailand.
There was one day my friend had a t of work done and was going to be unable to go out for dinner. The dentist was so apologetic that she spoiled a day of our holiday that she called the hotel and put room service for dinner on her tab! Amazing.
i’m never going anywhere else for plastic surgery. Turkey can take my money!!

Türkiye'de estetik cok uygun mükemmel Doktorlar var
I got mine done Turkey, life changing. 20-30k for a hair transplant? Absolute joke - no wonder people go abroad
I’d be happy to go to Turkey but the lack of hair in my donor area is a pain in the ass for me! My only hope is a hair cloning or some effective medicine other than fin or minox breakthrough, hopefully soon!
NoHo Hank has really turned his life around! Great job!
Funny, my husband shoots and edits all the videos (and has since before they were just one doctor in one location) for Restore in Chicago/Dallas/Denver. $2K is crazy cheap for that many grafts. But even in these bigger cities, 20-$30k is an outrageous number. Most procedures are closer to 10-$12k depending on the number of grafts needed. Also funny, my husband has been offered a free FUE procedure for years and has never taken the offer. In the end, you gotta do you! ;)
I started transplants in my late 20s with two good clinics: Cleveland and Chambers. I got a lot of good years out of them. What they don’t tell you is that what’s called senile alopecia can really thin out your donor area as you age. I wound up getting SMP, which I was very happy with for a couple of years, but then I got tired of the look and grew my hair back. My hair doesn’t look fabulous, but I’m pretty fortunate. The combination of my hair having grayed, and that I’m Caucasian plus the scalp having been filled in with the micropigmentation, I actually look pretty good when it’s kept short. Unfortunately, I have never responded to minoxidil for finasteride, but I’ve started to try light therapy and micro-needling.
I don't get why u have to micro needle? With transplant u shouldn't have to do that after the transplant
Didn't respond to either min. or fin. ? Damn.
@@lisavanderpump7475 to increase the efficacy of minoxidle
Micro needling actually does something, although it seems temporary and you have to watch out for scar tissue build up for sure.
My niqqa paid 4 bands and got a GEORGE JEFFERSON
Turkey has the best reviews I’ve seen so far
I did my HT In Istanbul last May. It was a fun trip. Not a single pain killer taken after the procedure. I was out and about 1st day after the surgery.
May i ask you to which clinic you went
@@anneschmidt3722 I went to Este Pol clinic, female Dr.
@@alexxxmmm1 thx
A country like the USA cannot compete with lower wage countries like Turkey for these procedures, a HT is closer to arts and crafts. If it goes wrong you can do it again and get more density at the worst case. FUE is very manual work intensive but not difficult once you get started, my doc in Thailand told me that. Had one HT in the US, not great results even though I wen to a top doc in LA. Had another HT in Bangkok, great results and less than half price per graft and the doc was using the LION implanter which gives far better density and angle control than the old forceps method still used in the USA. Look for clinics using the LION implanter tool if you want the best. The old way is using punches and forceps and is usually delegated to techs anyway, the doc is no implating the grafts in the USA and also most places in Turkey as its just too much manual, repetitive labor.
Dr Linkov, what dosage do you prescribe your oral minoxidil? I am currently on 2.5 mg daily and hoping to increase to 5 mg (2.5 mg twice daily). Any thoughts?
This doc has the smoothest face I seen in a long time
Take it from me.. I had a transplant in Miami and Transplant in Turkey. There is NO COMPARISON. Go to Turkey the experience was WAYYY better. They will take hair from anywhere in your body and still come out 1000s cheaper.
Was waiting for the Mike video 🤣😂
Yes! Glad we delivered
Turkey is the place to go. Great service and great results.
That's fascinating!
Totally and absolutely love love love this channel! Jus' sayin'.
My plumber just had all his teeth replaced with implants and he went to Turkey to have it done. It cost him a quarter of what it would have cost in the UK. He was very happy with the work and the outcome but I'm not sure I would have done it.
I honestly wish I got my surgery in Istanbul, Turkey to save $5,000+ of what I spent here in the NJ. However, I'm pretty satisfied with my results so far, with for 3,000-4,000 hair grafts extracted. I gotten 2 surgeries, but I am considering a 3rd procedure for correction.
new jersey?
Thx I'm new here and enjoying ur videos 😊♡♡good information ♡♡
my transplant was made in portugal and costed 5k or so, the worse part of the treatment is really the 4 first days after it (hard to sleep if you're not used to do it belly up and you're still draining the anasthesia) You also have to moisturize your hair every 20 minutes with serum during the day as well
I didnt really have much pain during and after, was just incovenient for 2 weeks
