I suffer from MPB and starting losing my hair since i was 18-19, been using Propecia and Rogaine for almost 9 years (Which did help and made things more stable but did not regrowth new hairs which is the purpose of Rogain). Came across a forum post about two years ago about high quality Derma pen I purchased off eBay (Not the cheap ones which do more harm than good), thought to give it a try and after about 4-5 months my situation has changed COMPLETELY, I would say that at least 80% of the hair I have lost grew back, thin and miniaturized hair became thicker. I have read a research that said there's a connection for low blood stream in the scalp with MPB so it makes lots of sense why it works so well.

Not the best analysis, IMO. That pic of Beckham in the sun had him *just two weeks later with a FULL head of hair* - so explain that miracle? Lol. After recovering from COVID, I faced the challenge of hair loss. To tackle this issue, I made some positive changes in my lifestyle. I improved my diet, making sure to include more protein and vitamins. I also started taking daily walks for at least 20 minutes to stay physically active and engaged in 10 minutes of meditation daily for stress relief. As part of my hair care routine, I used littleextra cocoonion hair oil twice a week, leaving it on for 5 hours before washing it off with littleextra natural mild shampoo and conditioner. I also started drinking amla juice in the mornings. Additionally, I decided to cut down on smoking and drinking, doing so only occasionally for socializing. All these efforts contributed to a noticeable reduction in my hair fall. Thank you all for your support and encouragement!

Finally, I managed my dandruff and hairfall.
Step 1: Put on hair oil and leave it overnight or for a minimum of 1 hour for it to work.
Step 2: Wash it off with shampoo.
Step 3: Apply conditioner that you prefer to the roots of your hair.
I used a mild and natural hair fall control kit by littleeextra cococonion for these steps as it's mild and natural, and is considered gud for hair fall control.
If you have dandruff, put on lemon juice on your scalp minimum once a week before shampooing and rinse it out after an hour or so.

I’ve had a slowly receding hairline since my mid-20’s. I went to a few consultations with places like Bosley, but even the most basic procedures would have cost thousands, and even being approved for financing cost me about $200 a month. I just couldn’t afford it. I still wish that I wasn’t having this issue, and kind of wish I could do something about it, but I’m now 44, and over time I’ve come to feel like it’s just not worth worrying about it and sacrificing my happiness. I’ve always been about living my life naturally, and have never been into things like plastic surgery, popping pills for any slight issue, or eating unnatural foods. So my advice? Just live a healthy lifestyle and be happy with who you are.

I also started losing my hair in my mid 20's. I had both a receding hairline as well as started to lose a lot of hair on the crown area. It just continued as I got older. I admit, it bothered me when I was in my 20's and early 30's. I thought about trying Rogaine, and I had seen advertisements about Bosley and other methods, but just never did anything about it.
By the time I got to my mid 30's I just didn't worry about it anymore. I just figured why worry about that stupid crap. I would either shave my entire head or buzz all my hair down to stubble. The good news is I haven't paid for a haircut in over 25 years. I just make sure to wear a hat and use a lot of sunscreen when I am outside.

    Hello Dr. Linkov.
I've started my Microneedleing/Dermapen journey 4 weeks ago at weekly intervals, 1.5mm depth. May now change to 10, then 14 day intervals after watching your video. I've also purchased a good scalp massager with vibration mode. I know Minoxidil works and had great results previously, but when I stopped I experienced MAJOR shedding. This time I wanted to try a natural route so this is my personal elixir.
    Carrier oils:
Jojoba. Black Seed oil. Black Caster oil. 60ml each.
    Essential Oils:
    Rosemary, Jasmine, Peppermint.
My question is, does one have to Microneedle permanently to keep full gains? If I stop after 18 months will I lose out, shed anything? I've heard Microneedleing, like Minoxidil, is a permanent practice. In your opinion is this correct and what do think of my mix and Scalp massager combo?
Thanks in advance. So far, best video on the subject I've seen

I have not been very strict either. Sometimes I forget and don't rub in oils for days in stead of every day, and needle once every 10 days in stead of 7. I know if I do Minox I will get back what I lost even quicker because I seem to respond to it extremely well. I'll give it a few more months and see if I'll re-introduce Minox.

Amazing video as always, doc. I love your videos so much :))))
Let me share my story. First of all my hair is/was very wavy/curly and thick, it always has been like that. So, my temples started receding 1, 2 years ago, and recently my hairline started thinning a little bit (im 27 now), but I wasn't really noticing anything until this year, because I thought it's normal since my dad always had that type of hairline ((with the temples a bit in - he's Norwood 2 I think)) his whole life and he still has full head of hair (he's 57). So anyway, 2-3 months ago, I noticed that my temples started to thin way too much and also some slight thinning on the front top of my hair ((every other zone on my head has very thick hair)), I started seeing my scalp a little bit when on light or when my hair is wet, but I also have other condition on the same area where is the thinning which is called seborrheic dermatitis ((very severe dandruff condition with red zones and flaky scalp, exactly on the front where my hair started thinning and I have it since maybe 10-12 years, I also thought it's something that will go away with time)) so I finally decided to go to a dermatologist (1 month ago maybe), because things started to get out of hand and she confirmed that I have seborrheic dermatitis and prescribed me Kelual DC shampoo and cream for the face + Zinc and Biotin for the hair. I also showed her that my hair started to look thin at the front and she said it isn't from the seborrheic dermatitis and is probably due to the male pattern baldness, but I don't really trust that and honestly think it's from the SB. So I used that shampoo for like 2-3 weeks, I didn't see any results.. Both my dandruff (SD) and hair loss conditions were still the same. So 2-3 weeks ago I switched to Nizoral Ketoconazole 2% version, cause I read that it is probably the best treatment for seborrheic dermatits but also helps Androgenetic Alopcica cause it blocks DHT a little bit. For these 2 weeks I see a great improvement on the scalp, my dandruff disappeared + my SB is not that tough as it was! I really hope it works for the hair too! And i'm still taking Zinc+Biotin, also Magnesium. I treat my hair with Quinine Water as well cause many people told me that it supports the hair follicles and the regrowth. And yes.. I read about finasteride and minoxidil, but I don't want to risk using things such as fin or min (even if they work), because of the side effects I'm reading about.. I love my hair, but I can't risk damaging my male sex characteristics... Also I heard scalp massaging helps, so I started massaging/combing my scalp a lot too, hope it helps. Thank you for reading this :-)

I wouldn't use it at all. If you must use it, and i would highly advise against using it, but if you must, maybe just once a week. Look at your diet, check vitamin A, vit D. Brush hair daily for good scalp circulation. I am not sure about zinc, some people say it raises DHT and others say it decreases DHT so that's a tricky one i can't advise. Finasteride may help by reducing DHT, but it has certain side effects that may be undesirable. Micro-needling can be very good but one needs to research this very carefully and not rush into it (use conservative needle length). I wish i could offer you a cure but all i have is my obsession and i am still thinning myself. I know for sure some things that don't work, and Nizroal is toxic for follicles.

One thing I’ve always appreciated about Becks is how he embraces aging. Sure he uses skincare and hair fibres to look a bit better but, overall, he still looks good into middle age. I know this is a plastic surgery channel but I appreciate that Dr. Linkov shares celebs who have chosen to forego the surgical route. It’s all a personal choice.

Iam not sure what you are talking about...guys net worth if $500million...he has absolutely nothing to do just to take care of himself. not to mention the guy looks totally fake. implanted hair, botox etc...he is just an ordinary guy one in a million, but with way too much money in his pocket.

With every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. The hair grows and something else does not

Hi Dr and company, when I ever I take fin (.25mg) I start getting chest discomfort about 12 hours later. It also expands to chest and shoulder pains. Can't sleep because of the chest discomfort. Blood pressure goes to 106/60. Takes approx 48 to feel better after taking it. What gives? Anyone?? Thanks much!

Dr Gary, would these medications for hair growth work for a female in her 60's with thinning hair?

I think we ought to own up to balding. Sometimes hair gets in the way of seeing the heart.

I would like to have seen his pictures from the back. Hair seems to thin there early on. With that said, it doesn’t matter how much hair he has, this guy is good looking!

    Thanks for the video!

There were photos of him at a press conference and it looks like he’s got a carpet on his head. You can’t go from having thinning hair to a full head without help. Also, his dad is pretty bald as well so it was bound to happen eventually.

I see shadowing or camouflaging from hair direction & movement. His hair could be lighter or transparent at the temples too because mine is and I’m naturally brunette. I’ve seen it often on men n women. Coloring the hair 1-2 shades darker is subtle and automatically darkens temple “baby hair” is what it called therefore creating thicker hairline. I know about fibers also as I’m a hairdresser ..it’s messy but does darken baby hairs and the roots (newgrowth from the scalp) depends where applied ….but can somebody just ask him if he using fibers?

Looks like from 2018 he has had a hair piece glued on. Hair definitely seems thicker and a different texture. Hence why he doesn't vary his hairstyles as much or have buzz cuts. I may be wrong but sure looks like this. His father is bald. That however doesn't always have a bearing but just saying.
