THANK YPU SOOO MUCH THSI HELPED ME SO MUCH!!!!! i didn't know how to build a pot shape (ive only used air dry clay) and i didnt even know liquid clay existed!!! thanks so much!! i will make so many cool things now!!!!
Due to the water retention of most potting soils, I would make the holes much bigger. Even just two larger holes is better than pin holes. Sincere observation. The pot turned out very cute! How have plants fared in it a year later? I just made a pinched pot for one of my cactus plants but I painted it with acrylic and am going to seal that with water resistant mode podge. I wasn't sure if its ok to expose the baked polymer clay to moisture that might sit in the pot for several days while the soil dried out.
@Plantsandtoyhorses That's a good suggestion to make a bigger hole instead of several small ones =) mine is still working fine maybe because it's thick enough to be water resistant? it's about 0.5cm or more. The other thinner pots do have some cracks over time though..
very nice. will definitely try. i love arts and crafts
Thanks! I do find a thickness of at least 0.5cm to be more lasting.. enjoy crafting!
