Having an issue with my Mog 404…it’s shuttering real bad when I brake, but it’s not the brakes. The front doff is making some noise like clicking or missing. Not sure the problem
Yeah there are but they are appropriately expensive, one community member said their way was to calculate the distance needed using their own body weight to achieve appropriate torque on the bolts
Great pull down tutorial. I've got to get into the hubs on my Swiss Mog soon and this video was just the ticket!
Glad I could be of assistance, I've noticed a lack of "how to" videos for mogs and hope to fill in some of the more common things.
Thank you very much for showing this ! It will help me a lot on mine
Great ins from Namibia
You have earned my subscription dude ✌️
Thank you, I should have more parts and more videos coming within the next month.
@@RestoMog good stuff

I'm guessing there are torque wrenches that can torque a bolt that high, but I've not heard of them. I guess truck workshops have them

@@RestoMog i have to say, that sounds a bit dodgy.
@@Hipporider I don't completely disagree but the math makes sense.
Good video. is there 2nd part ?
Working on it slowly at the moment, I recently changed jobs and am getting caught up again.
My front axle is leaking a tiny bit on the driver side. But it is the axle not the portal. So I might need to change the seals 😭
its not a terrible job to just pull the knuckle off the housing complete. Bring it by and I can help you get it done 🤣
Nice video, taking time and effort bringing this knowledge to us!
