I’m having an issue with my rear main seal leaking oil on my clutch, I’m going to try one of those rear main seal stop leak products and I’m thinking maybe doing this can help it seal the rear main seal easier because it won’t create vacuum preventing it from sealing and maybe I can also clean my clutch through the inspection hole. How does the car run like this, does it still generate any boost? Does it run in limp mode, how is the power? Thanks,
@@aminkhan736 Hi, it didn’t work but my clutch ended up going out and I got that replaced along with the rear main seal, but the shop said the rear main seal wasn’t leaking. It seems it was my vacuum pump that was leaking but it didn’t fix the leak on that. I had to reseal it,
What do you mean when you say you “capped it off?”
What can I use to do this?
How long can I run it like this?

Power is the same you’re not changing anything other than venting into air and not creating vacuum in the crankcase
any update on the stop leak?
