The master RC builder Tony Nijhuis does it again! This Concorde is Tony's own design and features four 50mm electric ducted fans, retractable landing gear and a scale nose droop!

What an awesome bird!! The powerfun units are seriously impressive!!! I have really come to love them in the 70mm size! They requires a lot of balancing but once they were its incredible!! Dr. Madthrust 2960 2200kv motors in my Sky Sword first and now I upgraded myFMS F-18 to the same system! The sound is really good and power is at least 5-8% better than before!!!
I saw the last concord come in and out of Detroit Metro in the 80's.

Looks beautiful. With 4S and 4x50mm EDF she could be even twice bigger.
He did say there is a bigger version planned!
Apart from the sound it looks and flies great. No experience with 50mm fans though and not sure there are any out there that sound decent.

Well, after a plane full of people dies in a fireball onboard an aircraft that was never truly commercially viable (BA and AF Concordes were heavily subsidized by their respective governments), while it's sad that we lost the ability to fly on one (as consumers) if you had Elon Musk money I'm sure you could get it back in the air :)
Yes. Very sad and not really a fault of Concorde itself that we lost it.
Wow! Tony's an artist. She looks great. And I'm impressed that she can take off from a rough grass strip with those little wheels - seems like rather than rotating, he's just letting the plane bounce harder and harder on the nosewheel until it does it for him! Nice filming too, especially the close pass... whoosh. :)

Man that thing would be pretty sweet if he put some quality EDFs in there! I can hear the imbalance in those 10 Quid motors haha!
Half British and half singer poor that was because Singapore could not afford to by a concord Wright out so that went into shers British airways and went half each it didn't last long I think four about 2 maybe 3 years
