You know it's giant scale when you have to fly it at an actual airport! Awesome footage!
I don't think they'll let you see if it'll fit in little tony or what it'ld do to your ballistic loaf.
sweet hey
keep up the good fight, TAO. i consider what youtube does to your channel to be testament against them, biblicaly speaking.
Need to take your ballistic jelly bear for a flight. And maybe see if it can be shot midflight. Haha.
Thank you for your great comment, my friend. You're right. A Rc plane of this size needs an adequate airfield to fly. The pilot told me that the gears are strong enough to fly even on airfields without a runway of concrete.
_Cheers_ 😎👍
I'm not exactly sure how I got here but I'm seriously impressed!
Thank you for the compliment. Much appreciated !!! 👍
Agreed! I've never really watched any RC related videos at all, but this was unbelievable! An older cousin of mine has a big passion for buying, building & racing those RC Drag Cars. I've always found it interesting, but never thought to try it or get into it. After watching this I'm considering buying an RC Car or Plane and give it a go. Looks like a lot of fun. 👍
@@jamesschofield2648 _Hello James. It's never too late to join this fantastic hobby. If you want to go into RC planes, you might visit some airfield near to you in order to see and understand what's going on._

Now retired, I was an Air France Concorde engineer in the eighties, this model is fantastic. I do imagine the difficulties to built it as we didn't have a lot of access to 'work on the real one ! All my congratulations to the team.
Thank you for your awesome comment, which I really appreciate !!! 🤙😎

I think you would have to be very careful about where you fly this thing ..!!
Breathtaking

I'd give it 6 out of 10.
ATC - Cessna 37W, you are clear for takeoff on runway 08. Caution wake turbulence from the departing R.C. Concorde.
Pilot - Ok clear for.....wait what??
🤣
Haha good one
Hahaha Tickled me that haha!
Brilliant!
yeah, good one :-)
It’s wonderful to see her in the air again.
My father designed the “Thrust Reversers” for the real one.
Congratulation go out to everyone that worked on this BEAUTIFUL flying model. ❤️❤️❤️
Nice one Scott 👍👍👍
Nice one
Indeed it is. My old Physics teacher at school was involved in the design of the nose before he semi-retired and became a teacher :)
Tommy Hammernots someone had to
My Dad flew the real jet and did Rolls with her.
What an homage to the most beautiful passenger plane to have ever existed. Amazing work!
Beautiful death trap
It even drooped the snoot! That makes me so happy.
Also watching that thing turn was a sight to behold.
Wow! That is Epic! She looks and sounds like the real Concorde. Look after her, she’s beautiful.
Except for the not on fire thing.
Nate Hill lolol
It's a HE. Can't you see its extremely large balls?
We The Animals She will always be remembered as the “Queen of the Skies”.
Did you just called a toy she OMG!!.
You deserve many congratulations for building and flying this masterpiece!!!!!!!so beautiful👍👍
This has to be the most amazing RC model on the planet. The Concord is such an iconic plane! Awesome plane and great flying. Thank you for sharing this!
FANTASTIC 👍💪Thanks and Congratulations
Holy smokes!! Now THAT’S a real mans toy!! The level of detail is unreal. Absolutely amazing!!
apiece ofdirt painted on cockpit doesn’t look that real
Where are the details lol
Michael Wilson No it doesn’t but these guys designed and created this thing and IMO that’s pretty damn good. It’s not like they went to their local store and bought it and take it out to the airport and fly it. Other than the windows for the cockpit and passengers I think it’s pretty detailed
Grinious FPV Seriously? lol. They designed and created it. It’s not like they went to the store, bought this thing and flew it.
The aircraft was not provided with all details for the first flight. The outstanding work will be carried out over the winter months.
Still the most beautiful passenger aircraft in the world! Sheer beauty! Have a nice day!😎
The look of total happiness on the operators face says it all.
Good for him!

WAHOU ! MAGNIFIQUE ! GRANDIOSE ! UN TRÈS TRÈS BELLE AVION ! ils restera toujours dans nôtre coeur le belle oiseaux blanc .Éric ✌✈
It's not lacking in presence in any way shape or form.
Spectacular
Finally An RC model Aircraft thats NOT ridiculously fast for its size
ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING!
Thankyou for sharing my friends.

Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. Well done to all involved 👍
Outstanding craftsmanship and engineering. Nuff respect to the team
German-based engineering at its finest.
Very cool! I know I would make a mess of that if controls handed over to me! As for building one myself I can barely maintain a go kart!
Except for the absence of windows.
mein lieber Scholli,soooo groß,man kann schon fast einsteigen,sehr beeindruckend💝💝💝💝
Vielen Dank für den tollen Kommentar. Freut mich sehr, dass dir das Video gefällt.
This. Has to be. The. Smallest. Concord. I have. Ever. Seen. Yet. It is. So. Cleverly. Done. Great work. Guys
The landing was just wow😍😍😍

Phenomenal Landing
Congratulations 🎉 that Concord is in the sky again is huge!
Better landing than some of my holiday flights.
This is absolutely magnificent
I’d be so afraid to fly it the first time!!!!
Wow impressive
It's just a prototype not an actual plane, it's a drone
Coolest RC plane I've ever seen! (and best video, too!!!)....
*BIG THANKS !!!* 👍😎
Ich bin absoluter Concorde-Fan und werde es immer bleiben.
That landing gear deployment shot at 6:47 - amazing. Absolutely top notch build. Kudos!

hahaha thats awesome
It's hard to believe how much money he has invested into this beautiful jet. The feeling of relief when it was safely on the ground must have been incredible!! Beautiful jet!! You've built a magnificent jet sir, my hat's off to you and all the hard work it took to create this amazing air craft, bravo!!
It is my humble opinion that the SR71 & The Concorde are "the" greatest aeronautical engineering feats of all time.
Northrop B-2 Spirit is also up there
The Blackbird was an awesome aircraft. Imagine if they built one with today's technology.
The victory roll was icing on a very tasty cake.
Superb engineering and piloting.
I miss the Concorde so much. Great to see it fly again even if it is only 10m long. Well done, great job!!
Pete Griggs One of my sadnesses is never getting to fly in that beautiful lady Concorde.
Where I lived in west london concorde was a regular visitor over my house, the noise was deafening but I loved every minute of it , I was gutted when it was taken out of the skies ,very sad .this is certainly the next best thing ,very well done.
This design was an amazing feat of engineering. I wish they had kept flying it. Great job guys this is one of the best and biggest rc models that i’ve ever seen wow
It's truly a master piece with perfect take off and landing. Congratulations!!!!
Wow that has really brought a big smile to my face, the beautiful lady graces the skies again.

Everything is so fine; only in Germany one model like this can be build, but the pilot is one of the best I've ever seen. Beautiful landing!
You can only build one in Germany?
Most complex parts by far are the engines and flight electronics. Were all those "Made in Germany"?
Long live the homeland!
You can build three in the US.

Thank you... for having built this beauty... for having incredible piloting skills... and for having shared it with us...
Thank you.
Wow, what an incredible achievement you earned building this amazing machine, and you certainly have the necessary skill required to fly it too. Seeing this in a video is wonderful, to actually witness it would be a privilege!
Schön dass ich, Baujahr 94, dieses Flugzeug noch mitbekommen durfte. Egal wie hoch das Flugzeug war, man hat immer sofort erkannt, ob es eine Concorde ist, oder nicht.
Best RC video ever with its multiple cameras !!!!

Now FPV it, fly it cross country, take it to 40,000ft and get me some Ground Speed record numbers
Amazing video amazing job and they're right The Landing was incredible
Probably the best video I have ever seen. That sense of relief when he landed his project concord.
Concorde, Return to us!! We missed YOU!!
Many thanks !!!
A freaking barrel roll on maiden with a Concorde! I've never seen anything like it! Simply awesome!
The pilot was flying a smaller Concorde over the last year and therefore he know the behavior of it.
Thank you for your kind comment !
It's Amazing, well done !
Too bad such a beauty doesn't fly for real anymore
The 1st time I seen the real one it caught me by surprise! If I had been driving a bit slower would have had a great view of it. Then seen it leave Toronto on its goodbye tour. That RC is very cool and must have taken along time to put it together and get it right!
TheSkyline35 one is currently being refurbished for flight by a private company
The Concord model is amazing, but you're wife gave you all the time you need it to complete this undertaking is simply the
Best!! Congratulations sir

Fantastic ! Model aircraft don’t get any better than this - great footage and congratulations on your skills in constructing and flying such an awesome machine 👍
Absolutely Amazing! Thanks for sharing! 🙏

We are getting closer to someone (or a group) making a 1:1 actual scale model!
ICSirvinite Why? There are already a dozen of them.
@@artysanmobile Yes but they don't fly any more !!
2:1 😂😂
Exactly what I was thinking
At that point you just get your pilots license and take to the sky. You would have to get a hangar to store it since I doubt you’d be lugging it around. I get the humor though lol
Perfect landing! Aligned! Wonderful! Congratulations to all group envolved!
Thanks a lot!
I've come back and watched this again. Those engines sound like real jet engines! That startup reminded me of my many flights in Fokker 70/100s!

That is one of the coolest things I've ever seen, i get nervous flying a drone, but that, just awesome, hats off to all involved, love to see more of her, stunning model,
There is, quite simply, nothing like Concorde. Even in model form it is stunning. Congratulations on designing and building such a masterpiece
Me neither
That was literally breathtaking. 150 kgs, amazing. It does look heavy in the air, no usual RC-style bumpiness.
wow, einfach nur wow. ganz grosses kino. und ich dachte schon, ich sehe nie wieder eine concorde in der luft. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

WOW!! First a SERIOUS R/C airplane! Second, AMAZING camera and drone work!!! One of the best R/C vids I've ever seen! Great work!
Definitely..... 👌👌👌👍
*Three Most Impressive things...*
1. Sound of the Turbine Engines (so realistic)
2. Retractable Landing Gear
3. Nose Drop
Wow, I was surprised little people didn't start walking off after the landing.
_Thank you for your kind comment, which I really appreciate._ 👍🏻
Turbine sounds realistic... that's because it is a real turbine engine.
I don't hear the sonic boom lol
The max. speed is around 190 mph [306 km/h].
This means that the calculated sound barrier is reached at a scale of 1/6. (190 mph x 6 = 1.140 mph / 306 km/h x 6 = 1.836 km/h)
No, I did not see a droop nose. Ich glaube nicht, dass es Eine absenkbare Nase hatte. Auf jedenfalls have ich keine gesehen.
It sounds so authentic. It's amazing. 💖
Thank you. Couldn't agree more.
Some beautiful camera angles, really showing off that stunning airframe. I'm a big fan. Awesome work!
Thanks a lot. Glad you enjoyed it.
Whoa- I just had the very same feeling, as when I flew my first RC, for the very first time! Oh, that was a mix of fear and joy....maybe 80% fear. 20% joy. This is AWESOME!
you're right. my thumbs are shaking every time. but one minute later when she is in sky everything is alright.
This is the closest anyone will ever see of a Concorde flying again... absolutely magical footage.
Now if they can just make her super sonic !

That’s great I can’t believe the authenticity of the sound - bravo you did an incredible job
ua-cam.com/video/TqNLPynlbzI/v-deo.html
The only element missing in authenticity would of coarse be.....FIRE!
Yes ... incredible job...
it is authentic. those are jet engines, that's why the turbine whine sounds that way
I watched the real Concorde fly over my house in London twice a day as a kid, and that from a distance brought back memories.
Akin to an art masterpiece!!! Outstanding achievement!!!!
Well done guys, what a beautiful brilliant model performed really well, the landing was incredibly accurate for the maiden flight, I think the Concord is the most amazing airplane ever built, but I am biased as I was one of the team that constructed and coated the main pilot and nose windscreens my job was to put the metal heat film on the glass it was one thousandth of a human hair strand. So you have brought back some very happy memories. Great job and beautiful model for the many hours that you guys have put in to the construction of your vision.

Totally Awesome!!! Biggest one Of the Biggest R.C. Jets I have ever seen especially a replica of the Famous Concorde Jet. Good Job Guys!
That pilot has a very steady hand, and nerves of steel. Well done!
Probably was a wise choice to not go super-sonic on the first flight.
Big grin! Too funny.
It can probably push into the transonic zone, those p300 pros are no joke it makes 67x4ftbls of thrust
or trans-atlantic
Andre Turcat and Brian Trubshaw would agree.
Lol
Many thanks for putting this on UA-cam the expense and the hours spent on building this icon of an aircraft, are appreciated by us all.
Very welcome. Wow thanks. Glad you liked it!
Am only slightly disappointed that the builder didn't model the drop nose. Kudos for the camera work.
*When you have a paper airplane contest and your friend takes it too seriously*
ah, but Concorde cuts paper...
ROFL!!
Lmao
Lol your one out of all joke comments is the funniest LOL
Right. Looks more like giant paper airplane then RC. He painted the windows with mothers lipstick and hide the engines under the shoe boxes.
Kudos to the engineers and team that created this beautiful scale version of the Concorde !!!
Allen Cohen Kudos to the pilot as well. What a beautiful landing!
The max. speed is around 190 mph [306 km/h].
This means that the calculated sound barrier is reached at a scale of 1/6. (190 mph x 6 = 1.140 mph / 306 km/h x 6 = 1.836 km/h)
The only way I see this getting any cooler than it already is if it had afterburners and went supersonic. What an aboslutely gorgeous model!!
On another side, it looks too like it handles extremely well, especially for a delta-winged jet at low speeds. that was a really graceful looking maiden flight.
Proof of the genius of the Concorde design is how well this model handles and how safely it can be operated well out of transonic or supersonic speeds without complex and heavy slats and flaps and high lift devices, just a positive AoA and some deft handling and she is as happy in the pattern as a Cessna on a Sunday! Beautifully flown, that approach and flair to touch down was just sublime!
