I experienced this issue when there are hundreds of updates to install (from years back). In this specific case, my solution was to choose batch by batch to install starting from the oldest updates. So it required several downloads, restarts, and configurations.

Good chanel and it was very helpful for me. I also in previous I have installed updatedmy laptop to sp 1 and It installed correctly then i tend to install another update on my laptop and its battry get over and my laptop get shutdown when I restarted my laptop I is showing that failed to configure windows update reverting changes and i also waited for atlest three hours but my computer didn't start I am very afraid because I previously download a file in that file there was a ransomware virus which affects all my photos and games in laptop and for repairing the computer I give almost 1000 for reparing and antivirus thanks it works
