Beautiful knowledge - but it`s a hard work to realize it. "I am Brahman" is amazing, just a glimps of that feeling (in Meditation) is so liberating! Imagine, you have realized it totally and you`re complete absorbed in it...That`s my daily longing. Thank you for your inspiration

The Rig Veda has 10,552 mantras grouped into 1028 suktas or hymns each having roughly ten mantras.
The suktas are further grouped into 10 mandalas.
Rig veda has only Rik mantras which have a metrical structure. Of these 2456 mantras are in the well known Gayatri meter ( The popular Gayatri mantra is also in this meter).
As per Shri Aurobindo Ghosh , Rik is the mantra of divine consciousness. Its brings its light of revelation.
There are around 400 rishis in the rig veda of whom atleast 25 are women.
    Thanks.

Many thanks, a great way to present and simple to understand. So much truth, how marvellous it was written at that age. More should read to know how much worthy it is. Thanks for simplifying it. We cant place a price to these knowledge as only the knowledgeable person could narrate to the simplest manner for all to understand. I attended a Upanishad session in India, so much unfolded and to reflect within. Thanks for those who have taken so much effort to translate from Sanskrit to English. I hope the youths will nourish these treasures and not loose them.

The Upanishad has been scientifically verified by quantum mechanics. Matter at it's core foundation is nonmaterial, rather a wavefunction of potentiality. An ocean of pure abstraction, pure intelligence, pure consciousness i.e. brahman.

1st of all let me thank for the excellent hard and smart work done by Mr. Sumitjee. These knowledge were there since ages in our country and our Rishis were the Great Scientist in the Globe who discover the secrets of the Universe and tried to note down all for the benefit of the future generation. Today whatever scientific development happened and happening, all because of our old scripture (knowledge), whatever you name it. They discover inside the "JIVA" and western world used the same knowledge for outside "JIVA" means physical world for human comfort. In our country most of us think about "MOKCHH", "NIRVANA" etc...which is the ultimate Goal of Life.

    Dear Mike,
To attain the state of atman is the state of moksha. It will be attined when a person will neutralise all its sanskara (memories and sensations),by detaching himeslf from each and every happiness and sadness. It is the time when u can see the truth without maya i.e. in its actual form without any manipulation by ur senses. It will be the time when u will get rid of vicious cycle of rebirth;according to to ur conciousness at death.Hence it is to know ultimate truth;self (atman) & moksha.

Reply to Bull Shiza, this is the beauty of Hinduism, you can choose to believe whatever the maturity of your soul desires. Every Rishi has interpreted the shastra in their own way. Yes Gita is the Gist of Hindu teachings, but some souls need to explore deeper& find their own answers.

Do not misunderstand Brahman for Brahma. Brahman means the fundamental Reality of the Universe. Brahma is the creator, one of the three Gods, others being Vishnu and Shiva. Brahman is more fundamental and subtle. Brahma represents creator God or Power. Brahman is the creation itself.
