We have a great reverence for Swami ji. We were in Kasar Devi at the end of May, and before we we went to the Kumaun region of Himalayas, it was literally like we were being pulled hard to be there. May be the Divine Mother was giving us a chance to come in your divine physical presence and purify ourselves. I got goosebumps as you started speaking and mentioned about your visit. Jai Maa Kaali🙏
Kasar Devi (Almora) is one of the only three places on this planet under the impact of highly charged geomagnetic fields that come within the "Van Allen Belts". This unique property makes Almora a perfect destination for meditation.

The Van Allen belt has been named after the American scientist James Van Allen. The belt is a zone of intense radiation surrounding the Earth. To explain it in simple terms, The Van Allen Belt is like Earth's protective shield, made of charged particles trapped by its magnetic field. Divided into inner and outer belts, it shields us from harmful space radiation. It's our invisible guardian, deflecting cosmic threats and keeping Earth safe.
And this charged up energy is a part of Kasar Devi that makes it a serene, calm spot where many have come to meditate and pray.
The other two places are-Machu-Picchu in Peru and Stonehenge in England. In 1958 Van Allen discovered the presence of these geomagnetic rings.Due to the presence of these rings,one can feel a sense of peace and calmness there.
Hi, I am from Almora. Used to visit Kasar Davi by foot and later by my motor cycle for meditation. The place is no doubt but attracts for meditation. But I need to clarify this. I am an Astrophysicist and there is no research done by NASA on van allen radiation belt on Kasardevi. Alhough, In the front gate of the temple it is written NASA has done research which is misleading.
Listening to Him is like a blessing. May we stay blessed and everyone else. Pronaam

I visited Kasar Devi last week and meditated just above the famous Swamiji cave, I can assure you, I felt a low - dull energy vibration against my body - it was surely out of this world experience. Standing outside his cave, it felt even more incredible!

I like this fellow. It is not much related to my life. I have seen most of the stuff about VV and his mentor. For many years I have wondered what he said in CHicago that awoke the people. Hering his talk was so illuminating. THis is a lot related to stuff I am not familiar with but apparently many are grabbed by. Will listen again. Volume is ok. Voics is clear.

“In the beginning was the Word etc. The microcosm and the macrocosm are built on the same plan. Just as the individual soul is encased in the living body, so is the universal Soul in the Living Prakriti [Nature]-the objective universe. Shivâ [i.e. Kâli] is embracing Shiva: this is not a fancy. This covering of the one [Soul] by the other [Nature] is analogous to the relation between an idea and the word expressing it: they are one and the same; and it is only by a mental abstraction that one can distinguish them. Thought is impossible without words. Therefore, in the beginning was the Word etc.” Swami Vivekanada
But Swamiji you didn't have told about the one another great saint ( bengali ) Anirvan অনির্বাণ who stayed there , rather whose Sadhanpeet Haimavati was there , almost ten years 1945 - 1955 ( Lohaghat , Almoda ) where he translated Sri Aurobindo's The Life Divine in bengali ; his the the desciple Smt.Tapasvala Chattopadhyay immensely helped him in that work . Lizelle Raymond his another Swis disciple stayed there .
You will get reference from his letters Patrolekha I and II ( পত্রলেখা, now পত্রাবলী প্রথম খণ্ড ) . One will find there poetic and beautiful description of Kasardevi written to his niece ( ভাগ্নী ) নারায়ণী দেবী ।
I humbly request you Swamiji to read and tell and enrich us again .

Swami is it possible to reach that Enlighten state without a Guru? I strayed from the path. Its like I know nothing but yet it seems so familiar but cannot grasp that what eludes.
