There are 2 5.5w motors on each side of the claws arm, 5.5w’s are 200rpm no matter what due to having no swappable cartridge. The gearing is 12:72 making the lift 33rpm. Unless you mean the actual claw itself, which is powered by a piston
@@baker3128 ngl, no hate for it, but that seems pretty slow, which I think is just the nature of descoring this season... do you think you could get it faster with a different build or driver practice without sacrificing the intake or other things?
@@acquidity_4062because of the nature of mobile goal descoring and how if you lift a ring straight up it just takes the mobile goal up with the ring, you have to kind of flip it off. From our testing using our claw flip out piston we were able to do it in about 2 seconds with some practice. unless you have the mobile goal clamped I don’t think it’s getting much faster than that regardless of what mechanism you have to descore a free standing goal :(
The pistons are completely legal, they are the standard vex 50mm piston. They are just wrapped in pink electrical tape to fit the pink-black color scheme
