Yay! Going on six months now that I’m the respondant in an eviction appeal with no hearing date set yet or any end in sight. and my dead beat ex girlfriend is still living in my house that I own. What a wonderful state we live in.
What are the deadlines and timeframes for the appeals? How long does the circuit court take to schedule the appeal hearing? If the first appeal is unsuccessful can I appeal the appeal decision?

What if the court failed to notify you of a court date via mail and failed to notify you of the default judgement? What happens now, if it’s past the 30 days?

@@nopepunx1981 They did not send me any paperwork about the final decision. Apparently, a sheriff had posted the writ of eviction, the landlord's son came onto my porch and ripped it down and took it, before I or my wife knew about it. Now, completely unaware of this, me and my wife were forceably evicted about a month after court.
