You must be a Turk from Turkey. I am a Dutch Turk, here in The Netherlands the Turks and Arabs are very close because of their religion. They go to the same mosques, share iftars together etc. Turks in the Netherlands are very religious compared to Turks living in Turkey, I think maybe 75% of Turkish women wear headscarves, especially the youth.
I've met many Turks who have lived in Germany before moving to the Netherlands and vice-verse, some guy in a restaurant couldn't speak English and asked me if I'm from Germany, turned out he lived in the same city as me a decade ago and was quite happy to speak in German to me haha
Can you do a video like this but about what Surinamese people think about like in the Netherlands or what people from the Caribbean (Aruba/Curacao) think about life in the Netherlands? Surinamese is probably easier because there are much more surinamese people.

It is a more cultural term in this case. The immigrants are concentrated in the cities, so out of the cities, the Netherlands consists mainly of Dutch natives. Only some large immigrant groups have significant presence out of the cities, mainly people who fled the Dutch Indies and indeed turks and Moroccans. Culture plays a mutch more important role then ethnicity. People from the cities call the netherlands multicultural, but it is not multicultural the way they think. There are cultural differences between regions, which they deny, but eventually society demands people to assimilate, which they see as racism.

Actually Dutch people are renegade society who want to leave German culture, traits, customs to form dutch customs who want to connect with the world citizens positively as merchantilists. Dutch people are very strong sailors, very adept at growing lilacs and selling them to the world, very capable engineers to pump up water out of Holland by both levies and pump machines.
Really like the Idea, but the approach is -1. U can't begin to compare unless u travel to different areas within a country. U interview anyone from anywhere. Bet if u compared east to west. Potatoes are cooked different

A pretty diverse mix of Turks I might say. Long timers, new arrivals, Dutch-born, older, younger.
as an asian, i cannot really tell which one is dutch dutch and turks dutch, or turks turks for that matter.
Darker and usually curlier hair, and a slightly darker skin tone.
