Well done mate for taking that job on and getting it sorted most people would just see that as an old van and turn it away that"s the boys lively hood that lets him get back to work👍
Same issues with my 2014 2.2 transit, its taken 4 years and 10 mechanics as there are no fault codes. mobile mechanic found a blocked vaporizer, 90% soot in dpf but the dpf has low pressure and that blowing air issue you mentioned, he couldn't find where it was coming from either. Engine refuses to give full power, no toque yet has 187 bhp it was remapped. Other owner had dpf issues after 3000 miles from when it was new. Van has done 81k miles, i've owned it 4 years. There's no engine warning lights, so was recommended a dpf delations, had that done Monday on the 12th feb, the dpf will be drilled out tomorrow on the 15th. Oddly just deleting the EGR and dpf system has changed how the engine is sounding and working. MOT centers have recommended the deletion after the amount of issues i've had with it.
That hole has been put in to gain access to the captive nut that the subframe bolts to. The captive nut probably broke free when someone tried to undo a seized subframe bolt.
Hi Jimmy, wondering what your opinion is, The Mrs had a 2014 kuga 2.0 tdci euro 5, had it from new, it had its first service by ford and after that I serviced it myself, changed the oil every 5k and took it to 117k miles with never an issue, I recently bought a 18 plate kuga 2.0 180 bhp with 40k miles on full ford history, our old kuga was quiet even on cold start up, this new kuga is the euro 6 but it chatters 'rattley' on start up and when up to running temp, is the euro 6 more noisy than the euro 5s?
@@daveawhittle I use to put 5W 30, in the other motor, in the summer I used 10w40, I see the euro 6 has 0w30, I was thinking of putting 5w30 in it, I realise that thinner oil aids economy, what's your view Dave?
Do you ever have issues where the launch will not show you the temp from each temp sensor or not even list the temp sensors at all. I.e the van has 2/3 and it only shows 1 ?

That sensor was holding the van together...😂😂😂
Seeing all these issues with DPFS really inspired me when buying a diesel to buy one that never had one fitted from the factory
I don't have a car with a DPF but find your videos so entertaining
I have a car with a dpf. I live in fear.
And I thought I was bad because I have a car with a DPF but funny have any DPF problem (yet), but I still watch all these videos 😂

That was some hole in chassi, thanks for posting Jimmy.
probably made to get on nut in chassis when replacing the arm or bush ,the nut breaks of the weld

? Normaly when there are faultcodes in the PCM, a lot off carbrands won't start the regeneration proces!
Yes correct. These transits will still regenerate with a dead glow plug. I have tried and tested it
Ok thanks for the tip.👍 Greetings from NL.
Thanks for sharing. Nice mice holes.
Strangely hypnotic 😊 Cheers Sue
did the second differential pressure sensor swap bring the pressure to zero with the engine off?
I wonder if it's been routinely driven through Rufford Ford... more rust than the Titanic under there.
10 seconds in and I'm waiting for vaporizer issues....
Aaaannnd I was wrong😅

Yes Ford use thinner oil in the Euro 6

That bias on the pressure sensor is a bit odd for a new sensor. Did you replace it again?
Yes. It was still the same
@@ORileysAutos OK. Thanks!
Do you reckon he was tempted to try power shift / jet wash his DPF ha ha. Smart guy knew that isn't the answer.
Someone been driving through floods in that van ?
Definately sounds like it's got a bent rod or a bad injector. Sounded very harsh with a 1 cyl lope.
Bcm in my transit was faulty and would give codes for anything set in default, stuff the van didnt even have😂

Hi buddy. For P20EE fault. What would be your first part change or move? Transit 2018 Thanks
Any soot on tail pipe ?
@simonedwards5401 - yes a little
