Hi, I really enjoy your videos I learned a lot about dpfs one question is whether the launch fluid has to be diluted with water or it can be used straight, You must also use some sort of compressed air gun to inject it ? And finally have you done and maybe a video on you doing a Santa Fe 2.2 dpf cleaning and if so can you post a link ? Thank you
I looked for the Launch spray gun, but it was put of stock, an identical gun by Bluechem is a bit cheaper, but there's a Liqui Molly one for 145, says use at 4-5 bar. What do think to that? I have bought a 2014 custom 2.2, my mobile mechanic scanned it, no errors apparently, but soot at 76%, his scanner had no test for the vaporizer. Thought maybe one day be coming to see you lol
Cut a long story short. I have a MK7 Transit, it had orange cog light on, garage changed 'stuff' and the light came back on plus now I also had the orange engine symbol come on. I watched lots of your videos, I bought a Foxwell NT680 Pro ALL Systems Scan Tool from Machine Mart, a Manno meter from Aliexpress and a multimeter from Screwfix. Found out my Exhaust Gas Differential Pressure sensor was dead, getting zero on the diff pressure at idle and 3000rpm, no cracks in the pipe work and the connector had correct power. Changed the diff pressure sensor for one off Ebay at a cost of £13. Took the whole D.P.F. off from the engine to the back pipe. Took out all the sensors and removed the vaporiser. Vaporiser was blocked, put heat to it with a map gas torch and cleaned it. Put bolts in all the sensor holes and blocked the manifold end of the D.P.F. off with a blanking plate made from ply wood, then cleaned it out using the method I saw in this video ua-cam.com/video/LE1boZ3fhLg/v-deo.html After cleaning the D.P.F. the Diff pressure is now 600Pa at idle and 5.8kPa at 3000rpm. Cleared all the fault codes and it's been 3 weeks now with no issues. Oh yeah, I also changed the oil and filter just in case of oil dilution due to regeneration. Thanks for all the info as it was this channel that enabled me to fix the problem.
DPF are the best invention on car engineering. it stops or reduces the air pollution but than we have to spend various chemicals to clean them and waste them on the rivers 😂 marvelous engineering... 🤦♂
Great video Jimmy. Had the same issue this week and with your videos I knew exactly what to do. Thanks to your channel you’ve really helped me understand DPFs and how to troubleshoot them 👍🏼
Hi jimmy Where are you based need you to look at my transit Luton 62 plate 2.2 I’ve spent thousands on it and still got trouble with white heavy smoke as if it keeps going into dpf clean mode as I’m driving bloody embarrassing driving threw towns Love watching your videos mate
Can this be used to clean the egr valve and cooler as i seen you doing so in your Ford C Max video was it the same cleaner used for both???? And thanks for the great videos you have put up they do make a differance.
Good old ford transit. No1 puller in the UK lol. Shame they rust so quick would be the best van work van about in my eyes. What is your favourite van of choice ?
We have one as a taxi multi seater but it playing up. Randomly it drops power and then after a few seconds it clears and goes well. It’s not put up any engine codes apart from mass air flow meter reading too lo. I’ve replaced the maf with a tested working one and cleared the codes it’s come back. What I am seeing is an IAT reading of 105 but I can’t find the censor for it any where. It’s got the 2.2cc tdci 2010 it’s had new injectors and a full cam chain kit fitted by ford. We are at a complete loss with it now.
Hey guys, i have a blanked off egr valve on a transit mk6 2012 (before i bought it) and it looks like i have a disconnected vaporiser tube, would this be normal practice do you know if it has been blanked and mapped? nothing is coming from the tube thats disconnected or the chrome part it looks like its supposed to be connected to? cheers in advance
@O'Rileys Autos please help... I have a 2014 vw crafter 2 .0 tdi. Dash showing p0301 but no Check engine light and no code on ecu. Cylinder 1 injector?

I’m guessing you have to keep your Tetanus jab up to date sitting in some of these vans Jimmy 👍
I know what you mean, filthy!

I'm wonder what's the ash level before and after. Does the product is able to remove ashes as well?

What’s the common issue with obd ports on these?
Fella, where are your stands/blocks of wood in case the jack goes down?

Change the air flow meter plug & harness. They are in ebay. Also an intercooler air temperature sensor under the van on the boost hose

I have a 2011 mk7 transit at 130000km (80k miles). Is it worthwhile doing a DPF clean/ shampoo as a precaution? Even if the vehicle is running fine? 🤔
Brilliant video thank u ❤️👀👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
What’s the vac pump called that you use please???
Brilliant as usual, one piece of advice from an old man ( me ) try wearing gloves to help stop carbon entering your central nervous system ,.....😊
how much would something like this cost
Your sum man jimmy 💪👍
That's what she said
Do you always mix the water when doing a clean? even with the other brand cleaner?
Launch dpf cleaner is concentrated so it's supposed to be mixed. No other fluid I know should be mixed
Can you apply the launch liquid without the launch gun and compressor like with a spray bottle that has a manual pump for pressure
I was wondering the same, like in a hand pressure sprayer bottle
I usually drill down from end then mig weld hole up
Works a treat
I did the same on my Sprinter
😂🫶
Drill what the filter?

You wouldn't knowing was misfiring except occasional surge and miss at low speed low rev
DPF KING, HOW DID YOU GET ON WITH THE TAB 2
It was good. Had a deal to upgrade to the tab 3
Nice one Jimmy.
did the cog light go out?
Yes
Top man thank you
Nice
If you try to darken the screen a bit the camera will catch better autofocus.
