Your comments on Fathom are spot on. If you love The Beatles... you will greatly enjoy watching Fathom take deep dives into their songs. It is brilliant.
A good list. Two of them are maybe already covered in Gear There and Everywhere, but the trio of Ably House, Michael Sokil and Sam Popkin warrant an honourable mention.
Thanks for the insight to other, I wanna say sites, but should probably say podcasts. I am already watching many of those, Fathom was new to me and I have enjoyed a couple of episodes about "REVOLVER" and laughed along with some very poignant observations, so I subscribed. I am also trying "almost Beatles", but as a Musician myself I haven't yet got on board the idea of improving any of the Beatles bits. Might be a little snobbery there, like stubbing your toe, you know the pain will subside, not sure when. As an aside, "Gear there and everywhere", was a great help to me, My Epiphone guitar now has Nylon saddles and 12's strings, which has made it great sounding and feeling. I also put flat wound strings on my Stratocaster, which was not very friendly to rhythm playing before.
There is an audio podcast which is astounding in its attention to detail, One Sweet Dream, done by a woman named Diana Ericsson. I agree about Fathom. I had had no idea she was from New Zealand.
You're concentrating on channels that dissect the music. I Iike to hear about their history and their Iives, and so my favorite is The BeatIes Forever. I aIso Iike that the creator does her own narration and graciousIy takes constructive suggestions from her viewers.
Yes, I have, you're right! That's why I introduce it as my favourites - and why we're so keen to hear your subjective takes too! I do like Beatles Forever too, but it's not in my top 10. I hope other people go check it out too now you've mentioned it.
Andrew Dixon and Dinner With Greebo are worth checking out, as well as Something About The Beatles and They May Be Parted. Andrew at Parlogram and Matt (Pop Go The 60s) are excellent UA-camrs !
Elliot Roberts is a glaring omission here. Exceptionally well researched material & the Macca top albums review was outstanding. I find Parlogram really boring tbh
@@elputoguiri75 As stated, it's only my personal top 10 and purely subjective, just like you not liking Parlogram. I like Elliot's stuff too. Glad to see another tick for Elliot to join those below. Thanks for commenting.
@ my band did a decent live cover a couple of years ago. i played the tambourine on that, too! ua-cam.com/video/lhpJ2mHHSg4/v-deo.htmlsi=3KQJSfO6_5MM_mrz
Best of luck with your new channel. There can never be enough Beatles' channels in the world
That's very kind. Thank you.
Thank you for including Fathom! She is amazing. Infectious is a perfect word for her.
Easiest one to pick tbh! x
I appreciate the kind mention. Looks like your channel is off to a very strong start. Thank you for including me in your Best of list!
My pleasure Matt. Seen many, many hours of yours already.
Thanks for the shoutout!!! 😊

Love her channel!!
Wow, fantastic list! Definitely keen to check some of these out. Thanks for the mention! 💜
Shout out for your mention of Fathom. She's amazing.
Gotta check out some of these other ones since you got POP Goes the 60s right. Great channel.
You mentioned all of my favorites!
Andrew from Parlogram is a must-watch. Two of my other favorites are Andrew Dixon and Beatley Tone's Beatles Channel.
A good list. Two of them are maybe already covered in Gear There and Everywhere, but the trio of Ably House, Michael Sokil and Sam Popkin warrant an honourable mention.
Thanks for throwing GTE on your list!! :)
@@DRguitar918 Should have done a bigger list / enjoy your channel too, Dominic!
the best prepared besides David Bennett is Parlogram! best Beatles channel because so much detail and media offered.
Thank you for sharing your top 10 Beatle channels. I also enjoy Mike Pachelli.
Me too!

I'd better make it Top 20 next year. Yes, great channel.

Will check out One Sweet Dream / thanks Bob!
@WithoutTheBeatles indeed! Happy New Year!
Elliot Roberts is good too.
I can't stand that guy. His biggest fan is him. Makes my skin crawl.
John Heaton and Andrew Dixon, Beatles Tone, Andrew Brooks all have channels

yeah, sure, but none of THEM are doing covers of the tambourine part of Tomorrow Never Knows! 😉

I deeply resent this...., everybody knows that the Beatles is just a cheap knockoff of the Rutles mastery!
Beatles Bible?
