I want to appreciate Northridge fix for this wonderful teaching platform... I hail you all the way from Nigeria... Thanks guys... I am an ardent student...
Made good work, it's the same trouble I had with my Philips CRT TV, after watching a UA-cam video about CRT TV voltages ,I got curious to know voltages on my TV motherboard.I introduced the black sensor in the gnd metal and started mesurments, the red sensor accidentally touchs a pin of the voltage mode controller MC 44608P and the TV turned off, it was a critical instant. I conducted many verifications but in vain. I finally checked the switching mosfet and found it shorted and replaced by an other one more powerful the TV remains still dead. When I mesured a 2,2R 5W resistor close to the posistor I found it became an open circuit with some mega Ohms. It is a strange effect that the resistor does not burn ? When Replaced with a new 5,6R 5W resistor the TV gets back to life and me too!
At 1:50 in your video. There appears to be a cracked resistor. Below the connector. There is a set of two - the top one. And just to the right of the smd marked BFEAS. In your image that resistor looks potentially damaged.
Question: In the video you mentioned you changed the touchpad and keyboard prior to finding the bad resistor. Does the shop absorb the cost of the new keyboard and track pad or is that and the time passed on to the customer? Great vid, I'm working on a MacBook Pro right now that has become a rabbit hole, changing the keyboard now. Your video will probably help me fix this one, although I do think there was liquid damage on the keyboard. Trackpad seems OK.
Can you think of any reason why this computer would work for the 5-15 minutes every day, then stop working until the next day where the same cycle starts? I’ve tried replacing the trackpad and cable, still the same thing. But can you think of why the voltage would drop after a few minutes? Thanks!
Surly couldn't have fixed this laptop without the Apple diagrams/schematics. What is the cost for the apple diagrams/schematics and is it one time or subscription?
I have a Mac Pro a1481 the Logic board (circle) this damage by corrosión humidity. Pinouts green corrosive reconstrucción of pinouts. Your have esquemátic and Bios firmware . Please help me. A fan from peru. Namaste.
It can be much like a fuse. Voltage spikes. That thing blows. So circuit protection. It dies to save more expensive smd. As per his diagram, it was only 1/20 of a watt
Well presented as always...clear..precise and to the point...no waffling on just gets the job done everytime..big like from me!
Am real falling in love with your work so much, thank you

Best video on UA-cam about touchpad and keyboard problem .Good job !
you are the best super clear ,you english sound strange but super super clear to understand
Very skillfull soldering. The trouble shooting was A1 easy with the right service info tho. Great video
I like ur videos so much.... 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🌹🌹🌹

Excellent work....
nice, those resistors so small id blow then away with hot air good bye
I'm not sure I could see them let alone manipulate them.
@@stevelaminack1516 if you sneeze their gone, no point looking for hit, i can solder 0402, thats the limit those 0201 are so small
Good job!!
Could you find that problem with voltage injection and the thermal camera
Nice job!
I just wonder if u ran out of part in middle of replacement. will customer wait for u to order the part?
good info..thankyou sir
Awesome as always.great job.

You can find everything on google. No subscription.
Where do you buy that big magnify glass with mount?
I love this video. Thank

Package it up and send it to him
Search google if you are looking for a specific bios firmware.
Awesome ✌️✌️✌️
how to get a diagram.. if anybody know please replay my comment
What is the purpose of this resistor if it's 0 ohms?
