Oldham Ramblers Volunteer Footpath Clearance and Maintenance Team were out again this week...
when Tuesday the 30th of April 2024
where on our second visit to footpath FP9 ROYTON off Tandle Hill Road

what Installed a step on stile at the enterance to Lower Oozwood Farm and a new waymarker post. Improved an existing signpost converting it to a high waymarking post and fixed waymarkers and Ramblers Join US signs. Strimmed a large section of the footpath obstructed by bramble and continued working on the three decking sections. Measured timbers required to repair the decks.
Such a big job and the most arduous thing is carrying all the tools and timbers up an down the footpath.
Has anyone got a wheel barrow?
