Short-sided chip shots from the rough... Sometimes the ball sits right up. This makes me either catch it high on the face or I don't commit with enough speed and the club snags up and duff it.
Maybe choke up, swing more around, more width, that way the angle of attack will be less down and be more level and you can give it more speed without going under neath it!
I watched pretty much all of your chipping videos and can now hit the high spinner and low runner. The last two rounds, I’ve hit so many great chip shots. My playing partners over the last three weeks have made numerous complimentary commented on several chips. Things like, “wow, nice hands” or “nice feel” or “that was a h__l of a chip”. Thanks Adam and Mike.
Porzak actually swinging clubs and executing shots with his students. This is how we learn by visual presentation and positive reinforcement. Most of the instructors talk your ears off without providing demonstration of their techniques. I will take Porzak's techniques to practice.
That’s so very true, most of the instructors talk to much. Portal is a very easy to comprehend teacher and is demonstrated teaching is the best. I wish I could see him in person.
Im a scratch player and my weakest part of the game have always been the chipshot. I believe there is nothing I have not tried during the years. This were almost sounding to simple 😂. Amazing result already after one hour Thanks for helping me out 👏👏👏
I love your videos... the putting one was very helpful. However chipping from the type of surface your on i normally put on. I would like to see a video on chipping from higher grass and in holes... that where my issue is... thanks \
I love your videos and the technique makes so much sense, but I simply cannot get rid of the yips when trying it myself, nor can I process how the impact is supposed to feel. Do you have any tips when it comes to that? I am a 5 handicap and just about every one of my wasted shots come around the green. If I am hitting greens I’ll shoot 75. If I miss greens I’ll easily add 20 to that score
Can you maybe talk about what the hands are supposed to feel? What sensations the body is supposed to have? I can’t tell if my wrists should remain locked and wooden or if there’s a minor breaking of the wrists and associated release. There’s something missing in my understanding of how a chip or pitch is supposed to feel, so I’m just grasping at straws here 😂
Choke up a little, get the shaft higher and more vertical, swing in connection to your body, this will help make sure you don't dig it or hit it fat! Thanks for the support!
@@PorzakGolf thanks for the advice Adam i will give it a try but i have come to the conclusion that im just un teachable lol. Chipping with a 9 iron is all i can manage if i don't want high numbers on my card.
@@PorzakGolf now that would be super cool if i lived closer id be there in a heart beat. i think id be happy to pay you to just sit in a chair and listen to you and Mike give lessons, i find it fascinating how you both teach. Great Great lessons.
When I use this method and play the ball back in my stance, the ball seems to pinch. It shoots out low, it skips 2 times and stops. How do I get it to release and roll? Use a Gap or Pitching wedge instead of a lob and sand? Thanks.
What club are you using in this video for chipping I know on a course there's different shots but I was just curious what you were using in this video?
My biggest issue is controlling the speed/amount of run out; and translating the same ability I have to get the weight right on a putt, on my chip! I can’t do it and this is why I would probably putt all of those fringe shots and not chip….especially if I was

Flying it to far to the hole ie,. horribly predicting roll out

Thanks for the lesson. Fantastic content as always
Thank you for watching!
This is dope guys!
Thank you for all the videos. It helps improve my game. Do you have any chipping tips from rough areas?
Play it like a bunker shot!
this is gold 🥇
Wish to be trained by Porzak!
Could we get a video on medium and high trajectory chip shots from 30 and in? Been struggling with connection with speed and spin around the greens
Thanks for the rec Silvio, we'll work on it!
Saw the video. Applied it the next round and was hitting high spinny dimes
@@silviodeangeloiv1349 LOVE IT, thank you for sharing!

Excellent. Thank you! Question: is there a stroke ratio you generally recommend on chips/bump-and-runs? 1:1; 2:1; 3:1?
Do you have a chipping video of the eyeball on the golf ball drill you mentioned.
I don't think so, but will try to do soon! Thanks for the comment and support!
Can I get the same result with a cavity back wedge I use for full shots which stop me digging.
Doe's this shot use any bounce or is it a leading edge shot where the ball is hit first
How far away from your feet should you be for Ball Position?
What degree wedge would you play this with
You could do this with any main wedge, 52, 56 or a 60! We also give out three free vids! bit.ly/PorzakFreeVids
Where I can get the lesson from you Mr porzak ?
Great video Adam tks, having the ball back that far and a square face scares the crap out of me i would chunk it every time lol

I would anyone to give it a try. ⛳🏌️♂️

We had a 60 here. We like our players to be able to hit any shot with any club!
@@PorzakGolf gotcha. I used to use a 56 all the time and I've been working hard on the chip and run with a 60 I find it to be a challenge for me
