I always liked how SRB2K's spring panels allowed players to steer around in the air, allowing more fluid mid-air movement especially with the red ones. Good work, man. Looking forward to messing with these in the future.
Really neat idea for a tutorial, as well as the moon panels themselves. One thing I'll point out, though: at 1:08, it would be "flung" instead of "flinged." Nice video overall, though.
I've desperately missed moon springs, it was one of the things I enjoyed the most about the old game, and the devs seem to have adopted a methodology for disposing of bath water, irrespective of the baby still in its vessel. I hope to see some maps with them soon, it'll be like having an old friend coming back to visit~
Thank you so much... seriously I was baffled when they took these out of the game. Looking forward to having these pop up in backports, as well as new custom stages.
For the people looking for the moon panels and this tutorial themselves: It's over here:

an interesting re-implementation of SRB2K springs, very neat!

SRB2Kart-style Springs, I see.
Could be a huge help with porting existing Kart Maps to Ring Racers.

Ooooh! Amazing to see people are really cooking with this game already! Very amazingly done!
