Greetings Residential Tourists, “The Muhammad’s “. Another thought provoking video. My hat’s off to you both as it takes a lot going through the cultural experience between -Africans and Black American. We are so close but yet so far away from our Ancestors reality and each other. You are indeed pioneers and I respect that. All the best to you both and thanks for sharing
One thing I've learned as a Kenyan and someone who was brought up in and lived in many cities is that love for places is often temporary. The more you experience them, the more you realize that, east or west, home is best. Home is where you build strong foundations, shaped by culture and values essentially, what makes you who you are as a person.
This is really beautiful...Kenya Africa is yours...America is yours as well who said you can't have both...i believe African Americans also need to have the ability to have their ancestral land and their resident land like we Africans have when we go to the US... Being in Africa connects you to your roots and you will definitely feel different than the way you came..we love you as a part of our family
Great video fam! West Africa is my second home and I also feel more proud to be an African American. Being free with my thoughts while in Africa, helped me to be crystal clear on who I am and why I should be proud to be who I am. Reconnecting with my African family has been the cherry on top as I have the best of both worlds. ❤🖤💚
Great video , i have watched one video and this the second one. My take on your experience is that it is that does not have to let go of your identity to adapt to a new environment. Either side of life weather you are African going else or American coming to Africa. The only dis-connect is when we want critic our environment based on what we hear or see. One has to experience to appreciate. We have adage that state like this Travel and you learn Grow up and you will see. So yeah grate that you both have experience this to yourselves. Good Luck
You lived most of your life in America, its home and always will be. Your love for Africa is great and i believe you are welcome always just feel free to always go back to America, enjoy some time there. That's the only way you will fully enjoy Africa. Freedom to go back and forth as you wish.
Still good to feel and think that way,,go back to share your experience of Africa to guys back home and reflect on all your experiences you've gone through while being here 🙏🇰🇪‼️
You will be fine, if it's a matter of finances, you must do what you must do. Africa is getting expensive...it's not easy if you don't have a passive income coming in and that income must be steady...many people have moved to Africa and for various reasons had to move back to America...I think that it's better to learn now than later... especially if you have a big family that you're trying to take care of financially it can be hard...when it's just one or two people it's easier but when it's more than two people it can be very hard on the pocketbook...I wish you guys well
the birds are called Weaver birds.....they are very beautiful and everything you said about them is true .....the male bird builds and the female accepts or rejects the nest so the male has to start all over until he makes the right type of nest
As Kenyans, we keep close contact with our home villages, and go back there from time to time. We all have our ethnic groups, tribes if you like, and from these we then come together to build a nation. You need to be able to go back home to America from time to time, reconnect with your roots. Your tribe then is black American, and it is good to embrace that. You then are able to connect with other peoples on your own terms.
Different perspectives to lives. You truly are different people, in a good way. Well, we like you guys being around each other but Muhammad heart really is in Atlanta. Say hi to Jermaine Dupri, TIP, Da brat, bow wow, Luda, etc in case you go back bro 😂
Nice and well-created video. Soooo..........you both left us with a cliffhanger. So who is missing their birth home and wants to leave and who's staying? C'mon family. You can't just leave us hanging like that. lolest.

Racism is enough reason to stay away from the west. Get the money and go

Mrs Muhammad, I am so curious about your granddaughter's experience moving back to America... her re-entry culture shock per se...

Their granddaughter left and mother left is what I gathered. They are still there with some of the husband’s side of the family.
Did I understand right? Will the brother return to America and the wife will stay in Kenya? A hug to you from the island of São Tome and Principe.
