Truly an amazing job restoring that beautifully done model that should not have been left outside to weather away like it was. Glad to see that it will finally be treated with the dignity it deserves and for all to enjoy.
It's amazing to see her brought back to her former glory. I would have loved to have been part of this team dedicated to restoring this legendary ship. Thanks to all of those involved.
you guys rock!! any time your in Wellington Neo Zealand ill buy you a round of large beers ....so i can hear more model restoration war stories!!.. an Incredible amount of loving work for an Icon of a lot of our film going youth.. ^-^
@RamboSnake73 As they said, the original model was made more then 20 years ago. Replacement parts can't always be tracked down. Considering all the other massive work and attention to detail, I'm willing to let a small thing like this fly.
Can I assume that the angle of the docking tube was corrected from this video? The angle of the tube in this video is different from the original. Were those screws that were being inserted at 0:34 removed after the retaining glue dried, or were they permanent?

Thanks for restoring her guys, I'm glad to see the old girl wasn't lost after all. Now, if you can find the refinery too that would be awesome!!!
Fantastic work on a real piece of art that truly deserved restoration.
It looks awesome! Well done Prop Store. Brings a tear to my eye.
Damned nice of you all to share! The loving attention to detail commanded by the original is just sweet to see. Thanks.

That's not the Nostromo, it's the drop ship!
This bit was the Nostromo, the huge thing they detached from was the refinery they were towing when they picked up the distress signal.
What movie is this from !?
Alien.
who else thought this was nostromovx...
