My hair loss has been extremely depressing for me. The sores and pain make it hard for me to lay on my pillow. I also have fibromyalgia. Sometimes my scalp feels like it is on fire 🔥 😩 my edges are gone. Hopefully my meds will make it better, but my Dermatologist told me my hair will not come back sigh 😔. Wigs and scarfs are my best friends now. Thanks for the knowledge.
I’m a hairstylist I have a client that didn’t inform me she that she has lupus and she had a flare up while she had a quick weave in and now she trying to blame me and I did all the measure to insure that she wouldn’t have hair loss she removed the quick weave herself and she had a bald spot on her hairline and now she’s trying to blame me I’ve been doing hair for 20 yrs and non of my clients have ever suffered any hair loss she refuse to even acknowledge that it could be related to lupus and her recent flare up that she told me she had and she said it was really bad this time do you have any suggestions for me
I am so sorry to hear that. That is sad. You did not do anything wrong. She probably does not know how lupus can affects hair. This is why I have not worn braids in a long time. I don't want my hair to fall out. It's not your fault. She is just sad looking for somebody to blame. I've been there.

I share your pain. Hopefully we can find some relief from the discomfort as we continue doctor visits.
