I carried a M9 Beretta myself from my time in the Army (87-94). I use my M9 for home defense and my EDC is its smaller brother 92x RDO Compact (I have a Meprolight MPS-F red dot on it). Thank you for your service both in the Navy and as a Deputy Sheriff……..P.S. My father is a retired Naval Officer (Commander)…..😊😊
I bought G 19 after debating between G19 and CZ 75B. G19 is good for CCW, but CZ 75 B is a monster for home defense. B 92fs is also an excellent choice. But why did you exclude SIG Sauer?
M9 Beretta or Sig P226 MK25 are my go to pistols (I prefer heavier pistols to help control recoil). Beretta proved its reliability and durability from my time in the Army (87-94). I bought my Beretta in 1994 and it has shot every grain of 9mm from 115 to 158 (I do have a threaded barrel and a suppressor) and NOT one misfire. I would also take my Colt 1911 in .45 ACP (given to me by my uncle when he passed away) as that pistol has a proven track record.
I took the new 3 piece trigger mechanism out of the housing of my G19 5 pistol and was amazed that it still functioned. Can you do that with the other pistols?
Anyone of my 1911s. But hard to argue against my FN FNX .45. 15 rounds of death dealing .45s. Thermopolymer frame and corrosion resistant coating over stainless steel makes it impervious to wet, rain, snow, salt,. Perfect formation to thr FN SCAR 17 as guns for the apocalypse. For 9mm, I have the HK VP9. Great pistol, better ergonomics than Glock, 3 different grip panels to change grip size, and improvements like the paddle mag release and slide charging ears. Add the Springfield SA35 as i love my Browning Hgih Power feel and function, but I had retired the real BHP.
A cut away slide on the Beretta 92 has no impact in stove pipe malfunctions. A stove pipe malfunction reaukts from a weak rounds that didnt slma thr slide back all the way, or an overly heavy reccoil spring that lrevents a full slide reciprocal movement. Thr Beretta 92 also doesnt hace an all steel construction. The slide is steel but an aluminim frame.
@@Dulex123 the only problem is the lower count of rounds , so you have to have at least two of them :) I’m planing to get the French Manurhin MR 73 Sport as well , I have the money, but just not ready yet psychologically to spend them on a revolver:) Its cost is $ 3.6K from Beretta :( Good that it’s the same calibre as the Python , so would need only single bucket of bullets :)
Glock 17/19 for readily available parts and magazines. P320 for its wide range of parts and compatibility (Plus the military contract making parts even easier to find) Beretta 92 series for its long lasting service and proven platform S&W / Springfield / CZ also have great offerings but HOLY SHIT don't pick a Rugar mk4 or 1911 EVER!!!
I'll take the Beretta, good ol' re style for me. 1911 ain't that far behind tho Btw👇 God LOVED YOU so MUCH that He sent His only son to die in YOUR PLACE so you won't have to die under Gods judgement but live forever IF you fully trust in Jesus, now that he's risen. Please repent from thinking wickedness 🙏🙏🙏
For a real EOTWAWKI, I’ll take a Ruger MK. II. Perfect for the most extreme needs. No. Reality- for survival purposes the MK II is imminently excellent. With this pistol you can take small game so you eat. Unless you need to shoot cars or refrigerators it will calm adversaries down. Of course if you are trying to survive you will not be out on the prod looking for trouble. With that in mind the MK. II with a brick or two of good ammo will see you through a lot of surviving.
So many errors in this video.... Beretta 92 has a fixed barrel? 1911 created by John Browning in 1920s?... some good choices though. Anything by CZ. Sig Sauer HAMMER FIRED only....
I really wonder who made this list. It seems like you nothing about firearms to list a 1911 for the apocalypse. 8rd of 45 would be one of the worst choices for the end of the world. Not to mention a very old and outdated design that requires a bit of maintenance to keep reliable. Maybe do a little more research before claiming "TOP 5 BEST HANDGUNS". What a load of shit lmao
CZ 75, Sig P226/229, Glock 17/19, HK P30..either and you’re golden
CZ 75 or any CZ pistol
92fs/M9. I’ve proved it’s reliability & accuracy during my time in the US Navy & as deputy sheriff.

My dad has licensed Taurus one with ruger barrel, his shtf gun. I have m1911. Same reason yall love the m9
CZ 75 for me.
That is solid Mr. Boring, very solid choice👍🏻
Good take on the Ruger Mark
Beretta 96 is my go to.

Glock 17 and my revolver as my backup are my SHTF handguns… my primary weapon will be my AR-15 with my mossberg second to that.
I like the G17, but you can't use G19 mags in it. Whereas you can use G17 mags in the G19.
Sig P226 or 229 loaded with hot .40 S&W or .357 Sig for home defense. Glock 19 or compatible clone for bug-out without rule of law.

Likewise my brotha, likewise. My EDC is an old S&W CS9. I might be looking to change it up to the S&W M&P Shield (+).

Glock 21 or Sig P220.
Dan Wesson DWX or CZ Shadow 2... both cz75/1911 relatives...
Glock 45 mos, Glock 20, and Glock 43x in my bag.
Hk usp? Kinda weird how that isn’t on the list
Korth 357 and 22❤
Glock 19 Gen 3, Glock 30 Gen 4, Glock 43 and Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 Magnum.....because reasons 😅
Is the Gen 3 better than Gen 4 and 5?

Colt Python 6” with a bucket of 357 Magnums :)
True revolvers are probably one of the best firearms in a apocalypse. Less maintenance

Zastava M57, 7.62x25 superior round, TT33 clone. Cheap, reliable, easy to use. Stalin approved, Russian mob highly recommended. 😎
I think the new ones, the M57A have dried up for now. Surplus M57s are available.
@@filippocorti6760 Correct.

M1911 a1 45 acp for me. Any caliber for it like this comment if its your choice
Smith & Wesson AR15 with 5,000 rounds of 5.56. Remember the Apocalypse brings Zombies!
How is the non chrome lined barrel of S&W holding up, after 5,000 rounds?

I think that the 1911 is a very good pistol; but the availability of. 45 ACP ammo would be a concern.
I'll take my 1911/A1 9mm . . .my true companion ;-)
