A small balcony doesn’t mean you have to use clichéd and uninteresting design solutions. Quite the opposite. A small space creates big possibilities. And, most importantly, you’ll be sure not to overdo it with the number of additions (a mistake most often made by owners of large terraces).

Every one of these balconies has a WALL on one end and/ or a wall running the full length of the balcony. That adds a tremendous amount of privacy and possibility. I would have liked to see photos with some balconies with JUST a wrought iron railing on all 3 sides and a sliding glass door. THAT is what MOST of the apartment balconies around here look like.
