Gotta say, where’s the joy? You’re plowing through the cards like they’re meaningless. My wife and I bought this box and have opened a few packs each evening, fawning over the art, enjoying the mash up between the MTG game and the greatest fantasy story of our (and any) generation. It’s a great way to connect over something we both love. Try to reconnect with what brought you to the game in the first place instead of thinking “where’s the value?” Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Great advice, and you're 100% correct. I do wish I could just enjoy opening boxes for the sake of looking at the cards, but on here if I take more than 15 minutes opening a box I won't get any views and if I do they will comment that I take too long lol. When I'm sorting the cards for my store I do take time to read the cards and think about all of their possibilities and imagine what cool decks I could build with them if I ever had any time to play. (Do not open a game store if you actually want to have time to play the games lol)
@@oldschoolmtg burnout is an SOB I hope you can get back to playing and not just facilitating. You’re blessed to be able to open backs and monetize it in so many ways. You have a pretty cool job.
