I would never had thought of this. I have light yellow siding on a Charleston style house. I painted the 3 gables in a dark gray and its amazing. My gutters are also dark gray. Unfortunately the steps are red bricks which bothers my eyes. So you just gave you the solution, I can't wait to do this. You have amazing projects so I'm subscribing ! Thank you, this is so classy.

They have a bandanna wrap with a coolant inside and you put it in the freezer and then you put it on on days like that. It will keep you cool cause it’s wrapped around your neck. Your garden is absolutely beautiful. You can tell that it’s your hobby. I love the garden too. My yard looks nice, but I live in the desert so we have mostly desert landscaping.😊

We did some planting this past Winter/Spring and now we are waiting to see how they comeback next year once they go through all the seasons.

I use needle nose pliers to remove tiny weeds that are deeply packed in the concrete to ensure I remove the roots.

Hey Daphne! It’s hard to choose. All the stains really look nice. The brown mulch is pretty. I’m in love with black right now. I went through a brown phase and was hooked. Waiting for it to cool off and little here, down south. It’s extremely hot 🥵. You have gotten your groove with the new tool. I love it ❤

Black rubber mulch is definitely beautiful if you can keep it in place and clean. It didn’t work for me with all my trees but I love it. Good luck

Yup, you may want to look into mulch dye if your mulch stays clean but you are only loosing the color.

@@daphnesoutdoorliving6146 yes and no. We purchased our retirement home in GA and we still live in NY. We travel to the house in GA when we can and work on projects. We did some planting this past Winter/Spring and now we are waiting to see how they comeback next year once they go through all the seasons.
