I just listened to/sung a karaoke version of this that was more bassy than the official version. Made me appreciate it even more...I think the guitar could be doing anything on the track and it wouldn't make much difference, it's all about the bass

i like how music like this has such a diverse fanbase. I'm only 15 and I just discovered this in 2020. i think its pretty cool that I'm listening and relating to the same music as someone from the 80s. we aren't really that different.
