Thanks for the Vid! I managed to replace my sensor without removing the canister . Use a flat head screwdriver to pry it over the metal lip it is hitting. My canister screws were all rusted so didn’t want to deal with that. My code was P0456 btw

Do you have evap league so that mean when the guys go with bubbles with air to the engine so your injection doesn't know what's going on so that's why you have this coach you have something leaked a horse lick it or maybe the sensor by himself you need to be changed

Can someone confirm the canister location in G37 Couple is different from G37 Sedan? Looks like Sedans' are easier to get access

I had my purge valve solenoid replaced yesterday and the service engine soon light is still on. The only other code I had was c1109 which was just to retighten the negative side of the battery which I already did but that goddam service light is still on.

The TSB claims that the ECM needs to be reprogrammed by the dealer in order to work properly with thr updated (lower voltage) valve. Also, I wonder if any of the aftermarket valves are updated. Did this fix the battery drain for this customer? Or did they just have the fault code present?

Did it fix the battery problem for u?

@stevenpaladino4630 So, my story is a long one. Short version: Replacing the valve got rid of my Evap code. However my battery drain issue was very hard to find. Ended up that my alternator would charge until it hit a certain temp, then it would stop charging. So, short trip, battery charged fine. Long trip, battery would get drained and car wouldn't start when I'd go to leave.

Defective charging system - A car battery drains quickly if something called the alternator on your charging system fails to push out enough voltage, ideally between 13.5 - 14.5 volts. In this case, the battery will continue to drain even while the car is running.

I don't remember which exact models but yes this is part of a tsb for battery drain. The earlier models vent control valve drew too much current when the car is off.

@@Xavier_Wells My 08 G37 coupe battery keeps dying. I bought new one and only drove car for 5min. and next day new battery is dead. Everything turns on but car won't start. I heard its either this or could be the 6 disc CD change if your car has that option. I heard if you run a stronger 24f bettery, this issue does not happen, is it true?
