Another person who was constantly given low bonds until he killed 6 people and injured 60 someodd others (and that is what is known as there were many injuries that the state did not know about). So while I agree that bond should not be punishment, it should consider whether the defendant will show up in court, and whether then will continue to commit crimes while on bond. It should also be determined based on the severity of the crime. He injured 3 citizens and an officer today. What is he going to do tomorrow?

This causes us to have some very corrupt cops who don't know the law and causes criminals to think they can do what they want and think they don't have to pay for their crimes. Things like murder do get longer time here but they have more programs in other countries and attempt to rehabilitate. It's a huge difference in schooling and policies. Murderers get released and get short sentences here to. Gypsy rose got 10 yrs. She preplanned the murder, was never wheelchair bound long term (proven by medical records and lack of muscle atrophy) her mother was in a wheelchair for months prior to the crime and she could have just left. Instead she roped in an autistic man and enticed him with sex and he wasn't her first attempt. Nick didn't get a fair trial and is now trying to get one. Gypsy is a sociopath and was in on all the scams, she admitted to her plan and that she was trying to make it look like a kidnapping. Her lawyer was the one who presented DeeDee as having msbp but there was never a single shred of evidence to support it. Gypsy has a current diagnosis of having a missing gene and the syndrome she has would have required every test and treatment she actually had done. That's just one example amd the most recent release I could think of. She was also ordered to do therapy and she quit right after her in prison dr Phil interview but still released even tho she wasn't following the court order. My point being that the order doesn't always matter and playing victim can get you off without fully paying for your crime. It's up to the judge and not all judges do as they should. I could add r@pe cases where the victim was blamed for basically being alive. Brock Turner is a serial rapist who was proven and released because "he has a bright future" but the school said otherwise and sis right by the victims. Things just aren't right at all and need fixed but to many people just don't care.

While I agree with ya, you can't just send people to jail without a bond, its actually illegal to not set a bond in most cases, and its also illegal to set a bond so high for the crime committed in a lot of states which are required by law to consider a defendants financial ability to pay, its different per state. So the judge could have been jailed for not setting the bond as he did, its an unfortunate system. Ohio the state I live in, 2937.23 "the bail shall be fixed with consideration of the seriousness of the offense charged" which is not too different than other states.
That registered nurse was an angel. Jumped right to the scene and was willing to help anyone. Hopefully the people that were injured from the situation are healed and there was justice in this case, what a horrifying chase.

Instead she roped in an autistic man and enticed him with sex and he wasn't her first attempt. Nick didn't get a fair trial and is now trying to get one. Her lawyer was the one who presented DeeDee as having msbp but there was never a single shred of evidence to support it. Gypsy has a current diagnosis of having a missing gene and the syndrome she has would have required every test and treatment she actually had done. That's just one example amd the most recent release I could think of. She was also ordered to do therapy and she quit right after her in prison dr Phil interview but still released even tho she wasn't following the court order.
My point being that the order doesn't always matter and playing victim can get you off without fully paying for your crime. It's up to the judge and not all judges do as they should. I could add r@pe cases where the victim was blamed for basically being alive. Brock Turner is a serial rapist who was proven and released because "he has a bright future" but the school said otherwise and sis right by the victims. Things just aren't right at all and need fixed but to many people just don't care.

While I agree with ya, you can't just send people to jail without a bond, its actually illegal to not set a bond in most cases, and its also illegal to set a bond so high for the crime committed in a lot of states which are required by law to consider a defendants financial ability to pay, its different per state. So the judge could have been jailed for not setting the bond as he did, its an unfortunate system.
Ohio the state I live in, 2937.23 "the bail shall be fixed with consideration of the seriousness of the offense charged" which is not too different than other states.

Seriously? A $15,000 bond?! I've seen people do way less and get a 50k+ bond... this dude should be permanently kept away from society.

First and only time I ever got in trouble I was 18 jumped a fence at a public pool after hours (had been drinking) and helped myself to a soda from the concession stand. Got caught my bond was 50k initially. Scared me to death. Never got in trouble again I’m almost 40 lol

Not always police officers of the peace not prison guards. Officers are to have compassion for those that they police, by treating the criminal poorly for whatever reason you've stooped to theor level and are no better than them and are setting a bad example for the public/community. Keep acting this way and things will never get better, but I can guarantee it will most definitely get worse. It's why the world is in the current state it's in full of turmoil and despair.
