I just cannot wrap my head around how your cat doesn’t mess with ALL THOSE PLANTS!!! I have two cats and they would do some major damage if I just had one plant!
Tilar Fifield I have two cats and about 80 plants and nope they don’t fuck with them. I had to spray them with water and yell when I first started my plant addiction lol now they’re both almost 9 and don’t try to screw with them anymore.
Ash Anderson WOW really? Maybe I should give it a try 😫 Mine are only two so they are still in the stinker stage 🤣 I just don’t want to come home to a giant pile of dirt on the carpet!
I have a two year old stinker, too. She is dead set on killing off my devil’s ivy. She’ll climb my curtains to get on top of my upper cabinets JUST to rip leaves off! 😂😂
Woohoo! Just getting into house plants and these are my favorite videos right now! I have been watching you since your last plant tour and I remember thinking “why do people love plants so much” here I am trying to not buy 45 of them 😂🤷🏼♀️
If I can give you a little tip: don't leave your calathea in front of your window, they hate too much light, they prefer standing a few feet away from the windows and live better in low light. I love their foliage and they seem quite hard to keep at the beginning but once you find what they like they are so rewarding 💚
Pilea struggle: I had the same problem, let it dry out as well. But the leafs were getting lighter and lighter. But since I moved it away from the light (it's now four meters away from the East facing window) the leafs are so much more dark and stronger. Maybe try that.
I just wanted to give a couple of tips: there is no such thing as a "long form" melanochrysum. You just have a mature specimen. Also on your p. gloriosum make sure you did not bury the part of the plant that sends new growth. This philo is different from most of your plants because it has a creeping growing pattern. In the native environment, it will creep on the rainforest floor, so it's important that it is not buried under the soil.
Pothos also stimulate other growth too when there added to another plant in water. I’m glad it’s not just me that had to dust around my plants.why don’t you do a plant trade with someone for the plant you hate? Try putting the spider plant near more light.
Aghhhh I love each and every one of your plants 😭 the pink princess! The tetrasperma! The abundance of string of hearts!! You’re a rockstar. I can’t wait for part two 😍
I have the same false aralia. It was a disappointment for several months, even after I tried many UA-cam recommendations. Finally, I put it in a south facing window and it revived and thrived. It’s a light thing or it’ll leaf drop like crazy.
Mine hates me. I find myself in a constant battle to keep it alive. That is the only plant I own that I struggle immensely with. 😂 Glad it's not just me.
Hello Jamie; greetings from the tiny but beautiful, sunny-all-year-round Caribbean island of Barbados; -- LOL, had to rub it in. I've just finished watching your video and it's evident you LOVE plants just as I do. I love your effervescent , fun-filled video presentations. It's a joy to watch them. Relating to the problem you're getting with your Pilea Peperomioides, it looks like it may need a little loving with fertilizer. If you're not currently fertilizing it, would recommend you use 1 teaspoon each of Epsom salts, baking soda and ammonium sulphate to a gallon of water; when you're feeding you could dilute the mixture using a ratio of 1 to 1. Fertilize once every two weeks. One other point, if you can't get your hands on the ammonium sulphate, the Epsom salts and baking soda will do the job too. Here's a link to some of my plants. I've got others that I haven't yet posted on FB. Blessings to you and those you love.
UA-cam recommended this video, and I’m so happy they’re did! I didn’t like ferns. Watched this video, now I need ferns. And a ric rac cactus on the wall- I swoon!!! Also, that PPP is goals.
I absolutely adore your attitude you remind me of myself so much about the mess about kids and how you joke about it 😂 I love how real you are! Need more people like you in the world! Absolutely have been binge watching your plant videos I just purchased some new plants at a local store and online and definitely watching your videos so I know where to locate my new plants!! Thanks for being so informative about what windows are where and what plants you have located in them areas! Great! Great! Video! Thank you! Love and light and greenery 💕
that chair in the right corner at 2:21 is amazing. i think a furniture decor of your mid century furniture would be amazing. AWESOME CHAIR. THE WINE COLORED ONE with the buttons. what's the story behind it?
While watching this video I managed to find a plant shop in my city that offers online shopping and delivery and am adding 3 new babies into my collection. I ordered a Calathea before you mentioned how finicky they are.... wish me luck!
This video makes me question how i have fit 120 odd plants in my little bedroom at home.... bring on when i have my own house and can wonder around them all like you can. your house is my goal
Try misting your spider plant every day including the little babies they love that he will probably come back make sure he has a lot of strong light. my three spider plants have successfully transitioned to outdoors sunny shade and are going strong
Hi, not sure if someone mentioned this, but I think your Pilea seems low on a few micronutrients - my guess is: potassium, manganese, and molybdenum. Beautiful collection!
How did you choose your grow lights? Are they not too hot/bright for the sensitive plants? How do you choose between the “full spectrum” and the blues and reds. I don’t get them AT ALL but totally need to get one now that the days are shorter.
I love your staghorns collection. Could you please share some tips how you are taking care of them inside ? I have a couple that are growing outside. I would love to have some inside as well .
A MEGONIGAL to be honest, she’s just not interested in them 🤷🏼♀️ There’s a whole slew of cat safe plants out there though! I think ASPCA has a good list on their website if you’re interested.

I have had a lot of luck with my Pileas! I find they do better in lower light areas in my house. I was propagating them regularly in the beginning, and I decided to repot a few of the pups back into the pots to have a more full plant. The color on all however are a nice darker green color. Good luck!
I love how real you are in your videos! I love that you're just "yeah there are some other things up here that should be taken care of besides plants but.. LOOK MORE PLANTS!" I wish I was closer to California, I need someone to tell me how to correctly take care of my plants 😭 half of them are changing to yellow leaves and idk why! 😭💀🥀
Marilyn when in doubt, at least there’s a plant to distract from the mess, eh? Most often with newer plant parents, yellow leaves tend to be from overwatering (I know because that used to be me!). Of course, it could be from something else, but that’s a likely guess. Try letting them dry out more between watering, and make sure they’re draining well!
@@theJamieWolfer what is the name of that tooly thingy you have to tell how much water they need? I just use my fingers and apparently that's going poorly 😂

Hi! I live in the Phillipines and i'm just amazed how the western part of the world is into a lot of tropical plants endemic to the east. When i started going gaga over plants and vines in the mid nineties, since our old house is almost all concrete, my potted plants alone came up to 2,000 plus pieces excluding the vines and trees planted on the ground directly. It was literally a jungle! I was not into exploring indoor plants then. Sadly we had to move to a smaller space and i could only bring some of my prized possesions. Some i gave away, some was left behind to the new owner and i hardly sold much. I used to be envious of plants that are grown in the west... like the wysteria. I'm amazed how people made plants dominate their houses and it's not like dyring the 90's when gardens were "manicured" or in order. I like it when it has character and its placed in a spot because it needs to live. Kudos to your collection and good luck to your propagation! I just started my indoor garden late last year myself...
Can you do a how to repot tutorial? I have 1 (yes just 1) little aloe plant that has actually survived a year in my care, but it desperately needs a bigger pot, and the last time I repotted something... it died a month later.... it was also an aloe... so any tips or tricks or just flat out you need to do it this way or you are gonna kill your plant would be great, cause I dont want to kill yet another plant - I have a mini graveyard of empty pots that used to have living plants in them that all died....
