Start -> search "Server Manager" -> Manage -> Add Roles and Features -> (Web server -> web server -> application development -> CGI) checkmark it -> restart server

You can do it, but it would be better to do it with admin rights
Well done. Thanks. Got an error opening phpmyadmin about mysqli extension. Fixed by unqouting extension_dir = "ext" in the php.ini file.

I've followed this to the letter twice now but it still goes to the IIS default website when clicking the Browse Website link.

FastCgi not appearing in the list after doing all the steps
