- Hi Folks,
While the deliveries of the new Himalayan have started and there is a massive waiting period for certain colours and variants, is it really worth it to wait for Rally or Cross Spoke variants .

Nice and clear video! Good to hear about your experience with Outex as well.
@Twenty3 Rides.
Bhai Will it come along with Kaza Brown along with the bike or we have to invest at it as an accessory ?
Very nice!! As you pointed it out, it all depends on your excitement level. I am not waiting for the spoke wheels, since I want to get the Himalayan to be able to ride with you guys, lol. Since I am not going to do adventure touring on Interceptor 650. However, I will be eventually getting these wheels as and when they come out. And from what I have seen on the internet you can convert it into Rally version by getting the products that RE will offer in the future. Everything from spoke wheels, to seat to the handlebars, all will be available. Bolt on Fit is always good.
Good video, cheers Jasween!
Yep.l swapping them out is obviously the best option, if one is ready to pay the premium. one time investment.
Cheers bro 👊
40-50k ? Thats crazy. I was expecting it to be not more than 20k. Didnt know cross spoke wheels are that expensive atleast for a single cyl ~3L rupee bike.
Tubeless spoke wheels are patented technology. A proper offroad tubeless spoke wheel costs north of 1lakh. For reference, just a simple Excel aluminium rims cost 25k in the market.
It costs around 30k in the UK, it will be no way priced at 30k or more than that in india 😂
30-35k will be ideal. Anything more, will be too pricey and might push people towards the KTM 390 adv which is also lighter.
single cyl se tyre ka lena dena, outx hi 15hazar ka hai, toh tumko pura setup 20 mein chaiye. BADI-2 bike ke 1-1.5 lakh ke aate hai
Having ridden my Classic 500 and Xpulse in extreme conditions of Ladakh and Himachal and having had punctures at the most remote places, my main attraction to the new Himalayan were the tubeless spoke wheels. Ill wait till the tubeless version is offered as an accessory. I plan to pick up the Kaza Brown and get the wheels. Until then not picking up the bike.
Also carrying soare tubes and tools to change them amount to around 30% of my total luggage weight.
I totally agree.. The peace of mind with tubeless Spoke Tims is unparalleled
Very sensible advice from you.......hats off
Great video. Spot on. Just going to wait for spokeless wheels or atleast rally seat and rally engine crash guards to be available in accessories before booking 450. Plus as you mentioed xpulse 440 might just roll out in June :)
Looking at the way Royal Enfield is delivering bikes and accessories we can expect the rims to come by 2027🎉
😀😀😀
Great informative video, bhai but what about Scram 450, I am waiting all about just scram 450 so desperately, some insights on that as well please
Does way to speed solution work on Himalayan rims…coz I heard it need to be aluminum rims for solution to get work effectively..n maybe Himalayan got steel rims..is it correct??
I'm a KTM 390 Adventure (2020) owner. So my benchmark will be that bike. ( I have a problem with the KTM's high seat and stalling issue).I took a short test ride of the Himalayan 450 today. My impressions;
Pros
1. I'm 5'.8"...and I was able to almost flat foot.
2. The initial pick up is very good. The bike springs forward as soon as you release the clutch.
3. Engine not too noisy..feels smooth
4. Gear changes are unbelievably smooth and accurate ...particularly amazing because it's an RE 😜.
5. All the switches seem to be good quality
6. Suspension is soft and comfortable over speed breakers and rough road.
7. The instrument cluster is nice and legible ( but will require getting used to)
8. I've heard some criticism of the rear view mirrors..but i feel they're very good.
9. The acceleration is decent given the weight of the bike ( 195 kgs )
Cons:
1. The bike is HEAVY and you can feel that from the moment you start.
2. Due to the weight, it won't be "flickable" in city traffic.
3. I found the gear lever a little difficult to reach... its placed a little high.
4. The riding triangle isn't as comfortable as the old Himalayan ( maybe one can get used to it).
My current bike is a KTM 390 ADV...so thats a tough bike to measure up to.....but i think RE have really got a good bike finally. But does it do enough to make me switch? Probably not.
Do you think I should get the 390 over the New Himmy? I don't really care about brand loyalty etc. I just want a great fun bike
@@InvictusCoaching All depends on what you are ( young/older) and what you want to do. I've not been able to spot a better value for money deal than the 390 Adv ( and I'm too old to be a fan boy of any brand 😄). It actually compares with one segment higher. If you are taller than 5'9"....get the 390 Adventure ( presuming you intend to do a lot of touring). Heard a few good things about the Triumph Scrambler too. Test ride that ( I haven't...so can't compare).
@@anirudhganu6773 I'm 6'1 so I need a Big Bike. And i think fit and finish on the KTM will be leaps ahead of the Himmy. Am I wrong in that?
Can the tubeless spoke wheels be expected by June 2024 95% ?
Spending close to 4lakhs here in south for tube tyres, i will wait for tubeless spoke rims. Doesn't matter how much does it cost
All points most beautifully brought out...A few thoughts...
1. As an interim, for such audience who want this as a long dist tourer, why couldn't RE come out concurrently with an alloy wheels tubeless option as in the interceptor, which is infact a heavier bike? Perhaps for such a tourer version, RE could have given a 19 inch front wheel with alloys, instead of the current 21inch tubed spoke wheels.
2. What does RE expect the current owners to do, once tubeless spoke wheels are released?? Selling the current wheels is next to impossible.
3. The current only option of spokes tube tyres were a deal breaker for me. Yet to cancel my Kaza brown bkg. Meanwhile, bought myself a Suz V Strom 250, at a great price of 2.3 on road at Hyd.
Thanks for the read
Whwre did you get your cross spoked wheels? Very curious
The dealership told me the rally spec is nothing but accessories and slightly different mud guards at the back. so it can be accessorised, not sure about the mudguards though
Brother any idea when the xpulse 210 gonna get launched?
Is it better to get the bike now if i have the introductory price offer..as now the bike has a difference of 15k..??
Thank you for an informative video.
Great job
Cheers Bro
Bro is there any chance for Triumph to launch scrambler 400x variants.
Is it possible to add cross spoke wheels as a add on in all varaint
Good point - many of those who bought the RE H 452 are the "super enthu" bunch and were not willing to wait for the cross-spoke version (which makes total sense on the Himalayan, considering its usage)
Yes.. They either have the money to swap for cross spoke wheels later or will be going for Outex or Way2speed
Or they don't want the cross spoke wheels. Most people that use the bikes off road don't want tubeless
Super Bhai?
What can be the estimated cost of cross spoke wheels ?
Will it come as an accessory after buying the bike or i can buy it with any colour of the bike?
When are they launching?
Brilliant thoughts and advise as always
Cheers bro
I hope the cross spoked version rims are not made an add on accessory but should have a variant of the bike with the cross spoke rims. It does not make sense to by normal rims and then separately purchase the tubeless rims. And I hope the cross spoke rims fit the 411 too.
Agree - that would be nothing short of looting! pay for the useless spoke wheels on your bike and then upgrade to the cross spokes - and try to palm off the extra rims and tubes which will have no market value.
Well explained sir😮
Need certain kind of rims I saw to make spoked wheels tubless friendly.? UA-cam and articles out there.
How come you got cross spoke wheel
It is just a market strategy to book more profit after launch. Sell the bike with tube tyre and old spoke wheels at 2.69 and after 2 months charge them 20k for tubeless spoke wheels, just to show the price of the bike is competitive
Abhinavs way 2 speed video is always a benchmark.
Hello, I have some questions regarding the arrow exhaust,
1. Will it be road legal
2. What will he the estimated price according to u
3. Should one go for it over the RRP or any other performance exhaust
Kindly reply sir
Thank you
What is the special thing really version 🤔
I will wait for cross spoke variant 😊
Sir, what cam are you using to record this? Quality is superb.
Its DJI osmo Pocket 3
I got information from RE showroom stating that the tubeless spoke rims would only be available with top variants. Such a shame man @royalenfield
Any updates??
Loved it❤
Cheers bro
Any update on the cross spoke variant ..When it will be launched?
No timeline..
How Stable is the Outex and the Solution in term of Bike performance. Does it make the Bike wobbling while driving on high speed and what is average time that solution will stay to the bike or it's a One time solution.
You will not feel any change after outex installation . Last med 3 yrs for me but the. I sold the bike .
Excellent vlog! I had to reject Himalayan due to rude RE sales staff asking to book and wait for 4 months for delivery in Bangalore, good riddance! Happy to have bought KTM 390 Adv Rally which is an excellent machine with loaded electronics and fully adjustable suspension is cherry on cake!
Pls advise if I can use the himalayan sealent on KTM Rally till I get Outex done?
Go for way 2 speed conversion.. if you dont want outex. Waise outex will be best
The showroom guy said 8 months !! That’s too bad !! I have already booked and waiting for the cross spoke version..
how much does the actual approx cost of the stock spoke rim that comes along with with bike any guess??
Actually depends on the brand.. For triumph tiger a set cost around 1 Lac, for RE it should be more than 40k i believe..
Big fan hu bhai aapka ...pls suggest koi acha place jaha ye solution install karva sake Himalayan me
Pathpavers Okhla, Delhi or Speedmonks Gurgaon..
In principle there should not be any change in price for the tubeless spoke wheels. It's RE's responsibility to provide tubeless tyres when making a off road vehicle
bhai outx permanet ho jata hai ya fir jesa apne bola 3varsh toh fir unko firse outx krna pdhta hai
Yaar Outex ki fitting agar sahi se ki ho to 4-5 saal tak badiya rehta hai
How did you manage to get the cross spoke wheels yourself?
The UK price between the tubeless and tube version is around £200-250 (₹21k-₹26k)
Sounds more reasonable ❤
Also factor in the price of a set of tubeless capable wheels will be higher than the difference between the tube and tubeless models of the bike. As opposed to buying a model that comes from the factory with tubeless capable wheels, upgrading afterwards to the cross spoked tubeless wheels might not be as reasonable as you will effectively have paid for two set of wheels.
If you book with the introductory price then it’ll be better to get the bike right now
I just bookedat introductry price i knw price willhike after 31st and even cross whhels also comw as accessories
By the base variant instead to top model and buy tubeless spoke wheel for that money or buy a riding gear 😊
True! Thats the most reasonable way to go about it .
But the Tubeless Spoke Wheel will be available to swap only for the Summit Variant, not the other two variants as mentioned in MOTORINC Channel..
@@Shankar_Vasudevan is there any difference b/w the variants except the colours. 🤔 so why summit got tubeless and others not 🙄
@@muhammedanas2747 Maybe so that everyone buys the top variant..
@@Shankar_Vasudevancan u explain. It..i booked kamet white is their possiblity of exchange rims in future and what will be its cost
Jas Bhaiya,
Which camera are you currently using in this vlog?🥹
I have recently started using DJO Osmo Pocket 3. how is the 4k quality? Any feedback.. i believe thoda sa wide ho sakta hai aur with a longer selfie stick..
@@Twenty3Rides My phone doesn't support 4K, but 1080p 60fps (mostly users preferable resolution) seems pretty fresh & crisp.
A wide angle would be nice as you said 😊 KeepItUp 😉
Xpulse 400 not coming this year definitely
Better we go ktm 390 Ad Himalaya big problem is tube tyre for marketing
xpulse400 is way to go
Pls share link where to bye outex
You can get it at Pathpavers store in Okhla delhi.. Online or at store both.
So you applied that tape on your own or seller will do it for us?
Royal Enfield showroom told me that cross-spoke wheels won’t be coming in India by 2024. Guys please confirm this by asking your nearby RE showrooms 🙏
what about the formula x
?
That is not as good at Outex or Waytospeed.. I would rate Outex the best based on personal 3 yr of use.
After long wait , finally showroom guys called for payment and delivery process.
i told them that i will wait couple of months just for crossspoke tubeless tyre release (not sure). Wat a shame RE.
Treating customers like slaves.
😀
I dont think price of tubless rims will be 50k, coz royal Enfield is giving those rims at 300 pounds in uk and its roughly 31k rupees...plus if they get certification here they can manufacture them locally so prices will be much less.....
I am guessing 20k...i dont think its should be more than this....if it is i made a wrong decision buying Himalayan this soon😢
My hunch is between 30-40k .. Lets see .
I enquired royal enfield and they told it'll be in the range of 20-30k , still it is too overpriced! if u add to the final cost of bike.Whats the point in getting such a bike when you have to swap out most of the parts!?.They cheated me with int650, not falling for their hideous business model again. Better get the ktm its better in every regards anyways...
@@maazshaikh9613i also booked it but if we waut for long time price will hike and 10k approx and new spoke will also costmore
50000 and 100000 for accessories 😂. Having a laugh.
50k for wheel 😂
That's way too high a asking price for india manufactured product. It shud be reasonably around 15k....
How much cost is incurred to manufacture a pair of cross spoke wheels that too in a mass manufacturing assembly line where thousands of sets would be produced in times to come?
Ask RE to give lower seat as option instead of having to buy 2 seats. Waste and planet destroying
Aaj showroom wale se baat ki bol raha ek saal lagega tubeless m ...😮😮😮😮😮😮
