    Fantastic! These your own arrangements?

Thanks. I wish they were. The Isbell songs are close to his originals, I’ve just dropped Cover Me Up down one fret and shifted Vampire up eight! America is based on a Dan C Holloway arrangement.

I have been looking at both these guitars and have only been able to try the 47 so far. Do you have a preference between them? Thanks for your comparison videos and great playing.

Now there’s a question. They are very different guitars, one being mahogany Gibson inspired, the other rosewood Martin. I’ve had the 47 for a few years and love it, it’s a very intimate and responsive pure sounding guitar that also has the ‘thump’ for muted fingerstyle.
The 00037 is still a novelty for me, it resonates like crazy, has a real powerful bass but remains balanced. The rosewood gives it shimmer but maybe takes away some of the pure fundamental ring of the treble notes.
I feel the 47 excels as a fingerstyle guitar sound wise if that’s your thing, the 00037 does everything well and is way better for strumming etc.
You need both obviously. That’s just the way it works.

Thanks, I’ll see if I can find a 37 to try
