  • Who would have ever thought the human brain would be compared to Mr. Potato Head? With its phenomenal capacity to change and re-wire itself at any age, our guest this week, the incomparable neuroscientist, David Eagleman, does just that.
In this episode, Eagleman sits down with Brian Taylor to talk about sensory substitution, sensory enhancement and Eagleman's company, Neosensory, which leverages these concepts in their Buzz, Duo and Clarify technologies.
It turns out the human brain is a plug-and-play apparatus just like Mr. Potato Head, after all.

Why would you not make a small vibration in the ear with the hearing aids?

For someone with moderate hearing loss and tinnitus, is there a single wrist band for this issue? I have checked out the website, and it seems the product is only available in the US. How do I get this product in the UK

Doc, you better go back to the drawing board. I bought a Buzz Band for my tinnitus and I'm sorry to report it does absolutely nothing for mine. I have genetic hearing loss. Sometimes I use it for over 30 minutes at a time.
