This car has a small engine but produces a lot of output. Beautiful car, it definitely looks like something Porsche would make, it's been 5 years and already they don't make 'em like that no mou... XD
Nice video! I wonder if Porsche will use this same powertrain for there up and coming LMDh car? I have read rumours about them potentially using the VAG 4.0 Litre TwinTurbo V8 (which would of course be cool.)
@@luisparsons3981 Audi using there DTM engine seems logical as all they just need to do is add the spec hybrid system. It will definitely be exciting to see how thing pan out.
@@francoisg3500 yeah that’s the good thing with lmdh is that you can get an engine from anything and put the spec hybrid on it I imagine Bentley will use the gt3 engine.
@@luisparsons3981 Absolutely! Excited with the rumour that Bentley might join the class. Seems only logical that they would use the 4.0 V8 as well. Also the fact that 2024 will be 100 years since there first Le Mans victory, surely the market department would jump at a chance like that.
It's not pretty, but it certainly is ruthlessly efficient at being fast, and that's what counts. Was it able to run derestricted as it was for the Ring record?
they are probably happy its past them then anything. In multiclass kart races im thrilled to get passed and not have the quick guys on my bumper@@hectorherbert6585

Yeah v8 is the rumour and Audi may be using a dtm engine gonna be a good sounding class I reckon

Obviously not, because these were races with strict rules.
The way 919 cars are passing the GT cars is humiliating.
humilliating? No, that's magical
@@zekkai1005the pilots in the slower cat cars don't think it's magical..

How is it humiliating. It's not like they are racing each other, they are 2 different types of car.
